I wish I was sitting on that cruise ship right now! Today is one of those days where I am overly excited about the trip!!! I WANT TO CRUISE NOW!!!! AAAHHHH!!!! :goodvibes

I bought Eliza a pink dress with Minnie on the front. The skirt part has that pink princess stuff over the top. I bought it at Walmart on Clearance for only $7.00. I couldn't pass it up!

Hi all....... especially to the new cruisers....

Lisa- I am now linked to your "main dining group" God help our waiters....
Also I will send you a couple Photos from our mini-meet in PA on Sunday.My DH has the camera cord so i have to track it down.

I was all set to go on the Tulum tour but the thought of 4 hours..... I don't think my DD & DH would want to go either. The rainforest part would be neat but only for me. (here's my DH..."ahh it's just trees and bushes")

I'm more likely to go with Karen and "hop the fence" to go to that beach place. Gotta have friends in that mexican jail cell.....

Anyway, I'm up for another meet or two before the trip.
Pyramid, you wanted to do Baltimore Aquarium right? Right now I can only go on weekends but if that changes (everyone cross fingers I've got something in the works) I'll let you know.

I'd consider a hershey trip or Knoebels meet too. (just need a little notice to see if I can work it in to my summer)

Well, with some cancellations we are down to 14 people so that isn't enough for the bus. We needed closer to 30 for that. I don't know if he can pick us up at the port with the vans.

I was not selected for the position I applied for. Was down to two of us from over 100 applicants...chose the other. :sad2:

So, guess I look on the bright side. :sunny:

I keep my 4 days per week rather than having to work 5 days, I get to keep my parking card (BIG deal where I work) instead of having to carpool or spend an extra hour per day on the bus. It's just that, well, Angie is not accustomed to being told no. :rolleyes1

Sorry it didn't work out Angie. That's awesome that you were in the final 2!!! Congrats. Sometimes things have a way of working out. I was offered a new position on Monday - but it means some serious impacts to my family life...being able to pickup the kids etc. Ugh! Everyone tells me I "have to do it"....but when I went home last night and kissed my son on the cheek while he was sleeping, I realized that it didn't matter to me what my office thought .... it mattered what impact I had in my kids life. So I'm waiting for my boss to come in...we're gonna have a chat and if it means telling him no thanks, that's what I'm gonna do!

Hey Kristina - I didn't do any more painting on Sunday. I let DH finish on his day off. The concrete patio parts get poured this week and we're finished. When I get a pix, I'll post. (If I can remember how to do it).

Goofyforlife, glad to know I'm not the only Rebal in the bunch, I think that makes 3 of us now. I can't wait.

Wyatt turns 7 next week and last night he decided he wants a party with his friends instead of his cousins that we do on our 4th of july camping trip every year. So we are putting it together for tuesday next week. Trying to get my DDH to get the board fixed in the camper. I'm going to start painting it today. He also found a guy on his fire department monday night that has his backhoe(?) up at our lake. So he said he would do the work for us. That has been the biggest hurdle finding someone who wants to take thiers up there for a couple hours of work. We need to rip spme bank out and then smooth the road out and then dump the dirt over the bank into the retaining wall we made to creat more parking space and for the camp trailer. Can't wait to get it done. I would love to live there the rest of the summer. WEll my sister is calling gotta go. MUM

Yes I'm the rebel without a clue....

Actually, My DH and I took the free excursion to the Wyndham pool at cable beach on our last DCL cruise. (ok it was $1 each way on the bus but the bus ride itself was an experience)

Think of riding in a larger van with reggae/island music blaring and every so often someone yells BUS STOP and they just stop and let them off. We even stopped to get gas at a station and people were getting on as they filled up.

If i listen to that kind of music now I get that urge to yell BUS stop every 5 minutes.
