Good morning !!!

Mrs. Mork - we can have a mini-meet ONLY if everyone can help lay pavers. See - DH had the grand plans....but to get them all in, we do some of the work ourselves. Sooooooo the final (and most painful) step will be to lay pavers over the concrete patio slabs. Probably hard to understand but when it looks as pretty as it should, I'll post pixs.

Let's see the projects underway at this point....
1/ edit & caption the pictures from 12/10/05 cruise before 12/9/06...really in a week!
2/ Get rid of every single thing that is somewhere in this house waiting to be used. (I opened some picture frames that have been in the closet since 1/05 after Christmas Target clearance and put the kid's school pictures in them yesterday! They were also hung up on the wall!!! MAJOR progress in clearing the dining room table. )
3/ Start making progress on scrapbooks...doesn't really matter which one...just need to get my butt in gear & work on something.
4/ Get shelving unit for stair closet to store & organize scrapbook stuff to make it easier to succeed with #3.
5/ Keep the kids from doing any major damage to each other while DH is gone.
6/ Learn to pretend that I like to so that DH stops wondering what in the world we are going to have for lunch &/or dinner when he is home.

Lisa - You sound too much like me.. I have #2 on my list also. I also walk by the school pixs and the frames but still haven't completed it yet.

I always laughed at the people who said they couldn't find their DR table...but I'm starting to bury mine. Fortunately it is all "pool stuff" that needs to go out in the pool house whenver I get the chance to organize everything.

....It doesn't end!!!!....

We went to the playground with our son last night. I had some things I printed from the internet about our cruise. I was organizing and reading to my DH while our DS played. I had the DseaU first day guide with all of the "big" activities they will be doing in the week. My DH said he wishes he could be part of the 3 and 4 year old group. He said they have some really cool things to do.

Yeah...but honestly IDK if I want to get into that this year. Not sure how it will be with people who have been thru it before. Really cut throat & the kids are usually up until 9 during the summer so we can watch something more suitable.

Karen - We sometimes eat Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner in the dinning room. The kids ask why we are in there. So THIS is the dinning room. I enjoy it the most when it is my scrapbook workshop.

Well, I actually had more eating steaks from that new grill and swimming in mind. But, hey, a paver laying party might not be a bad idea! I'm thinking we need to have a lawn tilling up mini meet at our house! Anyone up for that?

#1 isn't for scrapbooking. I caption the pictures on our hard drive & edit them for redeye & other goofs before I upload them to snapfish so that I can order prints for our photo album. You reminded me about something else that I have to do after that though...order prints from 2004 cruise for that scrapbook.

Diningroom table?? not sure why they even make them anymore! Mine is paper central!! Bills, softball, GS, camp info, etc. I don't have a desk right now, just a small table for the computer. One day I was going crazy looking for this table. Took me about 2 weeks to realize the computer was on it! We have plans for the computer desk, just haven't gotten it yet.

Ok, I am getting a bit worried about this cruise to Bermuda. My mom is very prone to seasickness and her friend has never been on a cruise. Goint through the Atlantic has me worried about getting sick, but I am more worried about mom. She was sick the first night on Disney (a 3day), but I don't think she had any problems when she cruised Alaska. But this is the Atlantic OCEAN we are talking about here. I have been perusing CC and the ones who went through Alberto reported a lot of movement! But they were on the Empress. Explorer has a larger draft which is supposed to be more stable. She is going to her doctor to see what she can take. I didn't want her to get just anything JIC something could react badly to any medication she may be on. But I am getting more and more nervous as it draws closer. And I still haven't even thought about packing!
