Patsy, they have to approve your design, and it was turned down due to the Mickey Head & the DCL logo. The cheapest shirt they have that will let you print on the back is $17.00...too high for me honestly. (No navy blue either.) I have already picked up the tshirts at a clearance sale for us...1.48 each. I'm sure that we can work it out to get the shirts done for anyone who isn't comfortable with the iron on transfers between now & the cruise.

Goodness! I didn't get shirts for everyone! I think the number is up to 100 now? Each family can decide what color they want their shirts to be since not everyone looks good in every color....I know I don't anyway. I do know that I saw some lime green tshirts at the Dollar Tree store the other day. Not sure about the quality but I do find alot of good stuff there. There will be lots of short sleeved shirt clearances in August/September too. Welcome to cruising DCL on a budget! I'll be sure to post when I find the deals online. Disneydirect.com usually has their character shirts marked way down by September.

Has anyone gotten in on the Amazon/TRU split deals? I am expecting the Pretty as a Princess & Princess Monopoly Jr Games (9.99 total) and the Cinderella Barbie castle (19.99) (+free shipping) to arrive any day. There was no way that I was going to pay $80 for that thing! DD is going to be thrilled on her bday in September! She always says that Santa just thought that it was too big & cost too much and that is why he didn't bring it to her.

Thank you for the invite. Its two funny, I just returned 5/6 from a 7day eastern cruise. My DH thinks Im crazy to book another cruise soooo soon. Maybe I am, but its a good Disney Crazy. I loved Castaway cay and everything disney cruise, I just could not pass up the last double dip

Im a scrappbooker, Wife of a great DH, and two DD, DD1 is (10), and DD2 is 6. my DD's will not know they are going on the cruise until the morning we fly out. We will be flying in friday the 8th. When I go to wake them up, they think its just another school day but little do they know they will be getting dressed for their suprize vacation. Its good to be the queen

Found out today that my sister's test came back on a positive note! They do want her to get more tests in 6 months to see if there are any changes. Now I am free to book our "girl" trip! I wish it were tomorrow though. DDs are driving me nuts!! DH was supposed to be home tomorrow, but extended for another week. And he wants to know what he is supposed to do with the kids for 5 days!! hmmmmmm...

Hooray for your DSis Caroline! Have fun on your "girls" trip.

I'm sure DH will be fine. He can handle it, he's a DAD!

OH! OH! OH! I just remembered something else that I found at the Dollar Tree yesterday! They had double mats for a 5x7 picture with a 3 inch border specifically for signing. I am going to figure out how to get the words from the shirt design on something sticky to print it out on the border & leave it at GS for the characters to sign.

Lisa - I never did my own iron on made from my computer but do you just buy the stuff at office max or staples? Also, will it be sizable...like for a baby shirt. They will be so COOL!!!! You are the best!!!

My husband worked all day today. He just got home (4:45) and has to go back at 5:30 and work all night!!! AAAHHHH!! This usually doesn't happen but they are so busy. He does road work and there is a job that is only going at night so when he needs to go there it means one night of work. I asked if he has off tomorrow and he said....NO!!! He said he will sleep in and go when he gets up! We just need to hang in a few more days and it will be BEACH time!

If you have a print/photo program to upload the file to then you should have no problem sizing it. If not, then I can resize it before sending it to you if you send me the shirt measurements. I picked up our iron on stuff at Big Lots.

Where is everyone tonight? I had my last church choir practice for this year. We take a break until August and start singing again after Labor Day. Tonight was just our last song then an ice cream party.

I was working on Bible School music. DH is at work and the kiddos are asleep. I can actually get some things done!!!! The theme is Son Treasure Island. Are any of your churches doing that theme?

Hey there, Brandi! I was wondering the same thing. We have lost the West Coast contingent it seems. Angie & Dennis are in DL, Jordan & Wendy are gone , and Brack & his DW are packing. The VBS theme sounds like fun. We don't have that but DS did go a couple years ago. He enjoyed it. DD wont go. It would be great to have that 3 hour break for a week. The secretary told me that some parents map out the VBSs for the area & their kids go to every one. It works out to cover most of the summer.

Funny you posted about the lime green shirts at the dollar tree becouse I bought one before I went to do all that rock work on the house and used it for work. Hey all, We just got back to the hotel from DL (well, it was about an hour ago). We are heading over again tomorrow a.m., early. Had a good day. Not too crowded at all. 15 minute wait for Indiana Jones. Fast Passes for SM. Did a lot of rides, considering we didn't get there until almost noon. We minimet with Jordan...cool. Everything was starting to shut down for Fireworks, so he left about 8, since all we had left to do was walk around. Autopia was closed. Tiki Room closed down for awhile, HH stopped about 4 times while we were in there. ????? The place is falling apart. The fireworks were cancelled because of wind. Boo Hiss. SO, maybe tomorrow. We did get the pic with Jordan. YAY ! The day started out great, but went downhill for the last 3 hours. We did get a lot of rides in rather quickly. We were also with an old friend and her DH, DD, and DS. The kids first for Disneyland. COOL. And they will do a first, "see the ocean, on Friday". (ages 9 and 6). They are from Indie. More fun tomorrow. I am rambling so TTYL. Buzz needs help in sector 9. Gota Go!

Hi guys....I've used that blankshirt company several times. In fact, I always seem to order extra white t shirts so that I have them on hand. I have some long sleeve white ones and regular t shirts. I like the long sleeve white ones b/c you never know what that weather is like. Anyway - in case anyone is wondering on that company for ordering blank shirts.

If I need to resize them for different sized shirts it will make it easier to make sure that I send the right one. Karen, thanks for the info on the shirt company.
