Yes Lisa - hope all is well. Sounds like some real R&R might be what you need. It certainly has been a trying few months. We'll say some extra prayers for you tonight!!

Speaking of prayers - so my boys go to a Catholic School. Yesterday, some young men who are in school to become priest (Seminarians) came to talk to the children about what it is like and I guess try to drum up some interest in the priesthood.

Well, we get in the car after school and I begin my usual "So how was your day...routine".

My youngest said (with a bit of an attitude), "MOM! Will you please stop talking. I am trying to pray!".

I resonded, "I'm sorry - what are you doing?!" (Thinking - this is not like him to pray as soon as he gets in the car....gee...has my driving been scaring him????)

He says, "I promised the seminemineminems (seminarians) that every time I had 30 seconds, I would say a Hail Mary to make this a better world"

Floored, I responded, "Ok, sweetie, you tell me when you're done"

To which he closes his eyes, folds his hands and begins praying.

What a moment.

Then..... when I was permitted to speak again...... I asked them both, "So are ya gonna become priests when you grow up?"

The BOTH said, "Yep! I think so!"



Just wait until ya meet these two!!! I think God has His work cut out on these two!!!

They said that it will take a week to go over all of the data from the heart scan. I am guessing that they will keep the results of the ultra sound until then as well. The only thing that I think could show up there as a concern is the galbladder.

That sounds SOOOOOO yummy!!!! I wish that I could get motivated to do something like that. I am waiting for the dollar store to open so that I can pick up the math workbooks for the kids. They have been asking for them.

Hi Gang,

I'll have to catch up to all the posts later. We are at VBR, and I am on dial up which is Waaaaay toooooo sloooooooow.

This is our second full day at Vero, and DD and I are going to get ready to head to the pool soon. We spent from 9:30 am yesterday to 8:00 pm at the pool and beach (very little time at the beach - we both got some minor jellyfish stings on our legs and that was the end of ocean swimming!).

This resort is beautiful, clean, and up to great Disney Standards. Tonight we will go to the campfire to roast s'mores! This is the perfect tonic after 5 HECTIC days at WDW.

We did have a great time at WDW - Expedition Everest was awesome - but our hands down favorite was 'Soarin! We rode it 5 times! The last time midnight on the extra hours night the night before we left for VB.

DD has changed her mind about riding rides this year too. She loves BTM, but now won't ride Splash Mtn, Space Mtn, EE, RR, or Tower of Terror. With the exception of EE and RR, she rode them all last year! I did get her to do the water slide at OKW though.

Two more days here, and then back to WDW for a final two days. It's been a great vacation!

Hey Brandi, I have been reading, just not much happening to post about. But life sure has been exciting for lots of you all, wow! I check in several times a day, but just like in life I don't talk or type alot. I am a listener, the number of free coffees I have had could fill a pool, all my friends seem to pick me to echo thoughts off of.

Karen, I think the story of your boys was great! They sound delightful!

I have a First Comm. A Confirmation and a Grade 8 Catholic school graduation this upcoming month. And for someone who is not baptised (DM wanted me to be able to chose my own religion ), I get to mass way too often. Maybe your little ones can pray for me, because DM is catholic, DD was High Anglican, along with DB, SIL is Catholic along with the Dniece and Dnephew, I attended Presbyterian services from the age of 8-18 all on my own, someday I will chose!
