My Grandmother has red hair. She had six kids...no redheads. My brother grows in a beard every now and then and it is auburn! He has blond head hair but auburn beard hair.

I hoped my kids would have red hair but alas they are light brown/blondies!!!!

My dad's a redhead and he's real sensitive about his hair also. When I got older I really wished I'd had red hair also. The red hair that comes out of a bottle just doesn't look as good! I've tried it!

I think it's from fending off all that teasing! And you are right, it is a teasing thing, not a red hair thing....

I said that I was glad my DD didn't have red hair. She may not have the hair color but she sure got the attitude.

Brown hair, brown eyes here. Closest I can get to the redhead club is that the summer sun gives me reddish highlights, not the usual blondish/light brown ones.

But we beat the genetic odds and got two blue eyed kids (DH has blue eyes). Even DD8 doesn't have true brown eyes; they're kinda mishmash grey/green/brownish.

I have blue and my DH has brown eyes. Both kiddos have blue eyes!!! We also beat the odds. I love their blue eyes.

My DW is a Pogo junkie! She will say that I spend too much time on these boards but she will spend hours (way into the night) on Pogo.

I'll have to find her screen name and let you know so you can play her. She's into card games a lot.

Since we are sharing educational experiences ....

I started out at UNC in Psychology for a couple of years until I learned about "delayed gratification" so I switched to Electronic Engineering to get a job making decent money quicker. I was married, had my DS and a house by then so I needed the work!

On our 4 night cruise I did not have one CM ask me if I wanted a drink except for our servers.

Becca, I'll be sure to let one of the CMs know. We even had them coming to us at the end of the family beach on CC.

It's not a red head thing but a teasing thing. I still won't wear capri's because of "flood pants" teasing I got as a kid.

ITA with the mean spiritedness of some kids. Last year DD came home very upset most of the year because a couple of girls in her Kindergarten class said that she was fat.

My DW is very computer literate but I have not been able to get her on the board. She has gone with me to several meets but I think she believes that we are a "cult" and wants to be careful!
