V- Tell John if he makes the trip up North, I've got plenty of Indian's tickets that I can't even GIVE away right now . . . they've really gone in the tank this year. We keep hearing they may move Spring training to Disney's WWOS - Let us know if that happens!

I'd also take him with me to a Brown's game if he comes up. Unfortunately the last few years it has been more exciting to watch the antics in the Dawg Pound than what was going on down on the field.

Angie, I knew I could count on you for football! We can get a little Big Ten /West Coast debate going!

If any of you guys ever visit the Pro Football HOF you are welcome to look me up, and I can show you around town. We've lived here our whole lives. It will be a busy time the next few weeks with the HOF Festival coming up. Hot Air Balloon Festival, Ribs Burnoff, Fireworks, Parade, Induction ceremonies, and game.

John
I've done some of those debates before, even had standing bets on Ohio State VS USC back in the late 70's. I did not have to buy lunch most of the time back then. :teeth: But alas...lost our coach. BUT hey, we got another coach now! :cheer2: I also had a standing be on USC/Notre Dame for many years thru the 90's. And I did buy alot of pizza in those years! :cheer2:

STEELERS!!!!!!!

That's a dirty word in this house! :p

I had an Uncle in P-Burgh, we used to argue football all the time, and I grew up HATING those dreaded Steelers!

Unfortunately, the glory days of the Browns were before I was born or I was too young to remember. All my memories are of "The Drive", "The Fumble", etc., which were rubbed in by our Colorado cruiser friends on the last cruise.

Time for bed- school board meeting kept me going a little later tonight.

Beautiful children Becka! Was Allie excited or was she scared of Stitch?

Love the new design Lisa and PJ. Looks really great. :thumbsup2

Allie LOVED the characters. She was the biggest character hound. The only problems with characters we had was when they had to leave because then she would cry. I hope she loves them as much on this trip. She has seen lots of pictures and still get so excited.

HOW CUTE!!!! :)

John, we only follow football...specifically Hokie Football! :cheer2: We don't get excited about it until the season starts though. This year we will be getting into soccer since DS wants to play. OY! I am SO looking forward to sitting thru practices and getting those mosquito bites during the games in the humidity!!! :rolleyes1

Brandi,

I didn't know the Eagles HAD fans . . .

I thought they just had critics! :lmao:

John
Nobody likes to rip a team down as much as Eagle fans do! Eagle fans love McNabb on a Monday when they win. They trash him all week if they lose!!! Have you ever been to a game in Philly? Let's just say...I am glad we are rooting for the hometeam! We only go one or 2 times a year. I wish we could afford to go more often but we take what we can!

Becka - I noticed on a picture of Allie on Deck 9 you had her bundled up. What time of year was that cruise and how cold did it get at night?

We did a Jan. cruise and I don't remember being cold once we got going. It was a bit chilly in Orlando but fine later.

Do I need to pack winter clothing for the cruise for the kiddos??? I know weather in FL can be iffy but I figured on the cruise we would be fine.

Don't let John fool you, he talks clothes all the time... He is always talking about laundry and when is it going to get done and folded, blah, blah, blah....

I mean really, I am busy here doing important computer work!!

Good night, all. I have to be perky for Vacation Bible School in the morning. Yeah, right! :lmao:

Have fun at VBS Marielle.

Walt's Girl AKA John's wife....I like your style :surfweb: say no to :laundy:

Good night every one  (note to self...less caffine....less caffine....less caffine)

I HATE it when that happens. Clicked enter to load a smaller image for my sig picture & the power went out. :( The splicer acted up when it came back on so I turned off the TV & hooked the cable right up to the modem. :)

My DH actually enjoys shopping much more than me. Plus he ALWAYS finds great deals! Just isn't very good at DDs' sizes all the time.

Good Morning Everyone! My aunt is having a yard sale tomorrow and Saturday. I am baking brownies, cookies, muffins, and banana bread. I am trying to make a little cruise cash! All of this baking will cut into my dis time... :confused3

You know, I think they really are going to move...they've been trying to get out of Winter Haven - and WH just spruced up the field. I really like it - but if they move to DW - just another excuse to visit!!

Brandi - have fun at the yard sale!!
Becka - those pics are darling!! I took out our cruise pics the other night - it's such fun to relive those moments!!

How well are our lime green shirts going to go with the boarding photo background?? (I know, I worry about the silliest things!)

That was on the Feb 5-9 Wonder and it did get a bit chilly in the evenings up on deck. I probably had her bundled up more than I needed to but she had on a jacket in the evenings and I added her little hat and mittens so her head and hands would not get cold. The rest of us just wore light jackets. During the day we were fine in shorts and t-shirts or just in a bathing suit for swimming.

I do plan on bringing the same kind of stuff again because although Mexico will probably be nice and warm when we are still in Florida or even at CC it could be chilly. I am a better safe than sorry kind of person on this. I figure that jackets and mittens/hats don't take up that much more space anyway.

We usually wear navy blue matching shirts but having everyone in the green this year will be fun. :) It will make it easy for us to pic out our pictures at Shutters Friday night!

Good thinking! Last year I remember it was cold up on the higher decks. DH gave me his jacket one night.
