The Tea with Wendy is basically Wendy telling a story. The kids get iced tea and a cookie. It only lasts about 20 min. It was cute for the kids. Go...you have nothing to lose! Monday with Wendy sounds great!

I asked DD if she wants to do this & she again said no, I want to go to the pool.

I always finish my shopping by March. :) It makes it nice not to have the big bills in January.

I do not know what I am going to get DS and DD for their big gift this year. My DS loves Thomas but he now has all of the big stuff. DD will only be one and what does a one year old really need.... :confused3 .

I can certainly understand that! We will have some pool time but since Eliza can only do the ear I don't know if we will be there much. Honestly, I can see Jason and Eliza napping and Jake and I swimming! :rotfl:

Pool time is very important!!! :Pinkbounc The Tea with Wendy is cute if you like Wendy and Tea!

Oh, well, so much for chatting. :( I will have to catch up in a bit. Now they want dinner. Imagine! The kids want to eat after being out all afternoon. ;)

My Dh will turn 31 while on the cruise. I want to take a present or 2 for him but I don't want to schlep stuff down and back. I got him something today that is perfect! He loves Hawaiian shirts, when you meet him I am sure that is what he will be wearing. On a cruise it is Hawaiian shirt or suit! Anyway, I bought him one and I will wash, fold, and wrap it in a box. Then he will have a present that he can use on the cruise! I had to buy it now because it was 50% off with an additional 20% on top of that! Also, you can't find Hawaiian shirts in December!

For anyone that still hasn't booked their flights, Southwest Air is now taking ressies till 12/10.

I checked the internet one-way price from BUF-MCO on 12/8 and it was $145. Yikes!

Makes me feel a little better about the $99 each way I booked with Jet Blue. :)

Kevin

Kevin, I am flying out of Buffalo as well on Jetblue, what day are you? I am heading out on Tuesday the 5th at, get this, 5:15 am! . I had picked seat 13 A for all flight, thought about it and call back to change to 12A, I want good luck on my side.

Want to know a secret/ (While the noodles are boiling!) DS's for this year was done a couple years ago. They both have loved HP since the first movie came out & DS has always been very methodical so I figured that he would like legos...he loves them! Santa left him Dumbledore's office last year & he put it together in a day. There is Hogwart's, The Chamber of Secrets, & The Hogwart's Express in hiding. ;) The best part? 75% Target clearance. SHHHHHH! :)

"Can someone fill me in?"

Did Karen ever get her judgement? yes, she won, but now to collect, augh!

Did Brack ever e-mail in again? Yes

How many new families have shown up? about a half dozen, right?

Did we ever find out who those other 50 people were who want to eat with us? Nope and more turned up it seems, lol.

So many fun ideas from people in this group! wow!

I'm definitely going to go for Tea with Wendy. I'm sure my DD8 is interested. We'll have to see about the DD13 and DS3.

After I drop kids off at art camp and VBS counselor practice, I'll see if the times are listed on the double dip navigators.

I have put you down for 4 tickets just to be safe. :)

:offtopic: Brandi, Did you know there's a full sized Thomas that tours the country? We visited him in Tennessee when DD was about 9 and had a blast. Of course I love trains anyway.

Hi Penny.

We're not leaving till Friday the 8th at 0700. I wanted the 0900 flight but that shot up to $119.

Are you flying through Boston or NYC?

My Dsis took Dnephew to the one outside Phila. The parking situation was a mess there and they only have the Thomas train. (of course my Nephew kept asking for one of the other Thomas characters)

ROFL! I just have to share this with everyone in case you don't see it on the main board. I said that we were taking our own Capt Jack to CC and DV1 posted more pictures.

ROFLMAO!!!! I just opened this thread & scrolled down to see the post after yours. DD5 was across the room...a good 12 feet...and she yelled out WHOA!!! THERE'S JACK SPARROW!!! and ran over to the computer. :lmao: I pointed to your picture & told her that he will be on the ship with us. REALLY?!?!?!?!! (picture jaw dropped to the floor :lmao). DS7 then asked, will he be dining with us? I said maybe...if he gets switched to early. :lmao:

Just got to check in while DW finishes dinner and after I got the grass cut. We had rain, rain, and more rain the last few days, so this is the first somewhat sunny day I got to try and mow. And BOY is it HOT and muggy out there!

We are going to fly Airtran out of Akron/Canton. Right now showing $114 each way as the cheapest fare. Of course, two of us are flying on our "Wendy's Cup" Points deal, but I'm still waiting for that web special that should be up soon for our travel dates.

Going to have to revisit the web site soon to try and place everyone - I'm beginning to lose track! When we were with Lisa and family last week, she kept mentioning names, and I had to keep asking her "who is that" and "where are they from"?

We are becoming quite a group!

I'll check in again later . . .

We live about an hour from Strasburg, PA. That is like train central in the heart of Amish Country. We went to see Thomas last year. He loved it!

OK, everyone! Everything that everyone has sent me up until 2 minutes ago has been added to the site. :) New pictures to see!
