Kim, np, I wasn't the one with the glowly necklaces.

I am doing the newletter, the first should be in your mailbox Sunday and it is mostly general information. The second will be mid August with more details. Maybe a third/fourth in the Fall and a final one on the ship.

I am up for 1900 on Friday the 8th, just let me know details, and I will be there with bells on (maybe bells.) I am hoping to spend the day MK.

BTW,

If no one objects, I will send Lisa's picture to the bracelet people and have them add the CC and DD idea's. I am thinking if I order about 250 we should be safe.

And PJ sorry about the glowy necklace copying!

I will post, if I can post pictures, a proof and you can all tell me if you like it.

Thoughts?

Kim

That sounds wonderful, Kim!!! With a group this size we should have connections for just about anything. :)

Yeah, booked the DDP, have to pay for it at check in, doing DVC this trip. See my tag, this is our (aka my) first trip without borrowing points. We sold back our first years points for a cost reduction, the thought was we won't be coming to WDW in 2054, so we will give those back to Disney and borrow every year, lol.

In 2008 we will have 128 (2007) points, 150 (2008) points and we will be borrow from 2009, to do a 1 day DVC, 4 day DCL and 6 Day DVC mega stay in October 2008. We are sick, we have planned for 2 1/2 yrs away. Sorry for babbling.

:rotfl: Don't worry about it, PJ. We have ours planned years out too! Junkies, that's what we are. :rotfl:

For anyone that still hasn't booked their flights, Southwest Air is now taking ressies till 12/10.

I checked the internet one-way price from BUF-MCO on 12/8 and it was $145. Yikes!

Makes me feel a little better about the $99 each way I booked with Jet Blue. :)

I have never gotten any better rates with SW than with the other airlines. :confused3 Everybody talks about it, but I just haven't seen it. Right now it is $142 EACH way on SW from Portland to LA for our Sept DL trip, and I just booked on United yesterday for $218 RT. Unless my math is bad......I have found that because SW lists everything as one way it sounds so much better than the RT quotes by the other airlines. Anyway, my 2 cents. So, I have my flight to LA booked WITH seats assigned.

Still waiting for the fares to come down a bit to Orlando. We have for the past 8 years found that the rates dip a bit in late Aug or early Sept for early Dec flights from Portland to Orlando. I check almost daily, :surfweb: which is what I was doing for LA also. Day before yesterday it was $309, $218 yesterday I grabbed it. ::yes::

*** MICKEYPLAN ***

OK, I have put the Tea with Wendy on the DIS meets page on the site. This is held at 4 pm on Monday or Thursday. Let me explain why Thursday wont work. ;) The progressive wine & cheese is 2-4 (or sometime around there), the kids need to be at the club at 4 for the DSeaU show. This will make it easy for us since we can just go back to the staterooms to get ready for dinner after the W&C and then go to the theater around 4:30/4:45 to get seats for the DSeaU show then go pick up the kids at the clubs to get them ready for dinner. :) Yes, it does sound hectic but it wont be that bad if you know what to expect & have it planned out. ;) I will probably try to have my hair done before the W&C so I wont have to mess with that. :wizard:

So....that is why Monday will work better. :cool1:

We flew JetBlue last Sept at $99 ea way. But I was kicking myself when SW came out with $45 ea way a short time later. I was putting off booking my air with JB for that reason.

But I figured with the cost of fuel so high this year, we weren't going to see those low airfares with SW again so we went with JetBlue. :thumbsup2

So hard to keep up with you guys. :rolleyes1

The green bracelets are a great idea. And the picture is so cute!

I know DD would like to do Tea w/Wendy. I may even try to get DS to go. They give cookies, right? I'm sure I can easily get DS and DH to come along with the promise of cookies. :rotfl2:

We're still tossing around our pre-cruise plans. We were going to do WDW but we are actually now leaning toward a day at Sea World and staying at a place near there. My kids and DH have never been to Sea World and DS absolutely LOVES sea creatures so we're thinking this may be the better way to go.

I just read on the thread about the David and Ivan tour that someone got a reply from Ivan saying they now have a few soccer and basketballs, so I suppose we don't need to worry about getting those. But it does sound like school supplies are a big help so I am going to hit some sales and stock up on some general school supplies for the children there. Crayons, glue sticks, paper, etc.

Any suggestions on something I could bring for the DIS meets? I see people are bringing goodies.

For anyone looking.........

I was able to get $79 flights on Friday afternoon...(still hoping for a ding though)

We had 240 in credits so only had to spend $27 so far....

Hi everyone..... sorry to be so quiet...have to "work" at this new job...

So new job has been fun so far.....

I haven't had time to read our soap opera of a webpage...
Can someone fill me in? popcorn::

Did Karen ever get her judgement?
Did Brack ever e-mail in again?
How many new families have shown up?
Did we ever find out who those other 50 people were who want to eat with us?

Later guys, Kristina

realmickeysgirl and I went to Sea World for the first time a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. SW is definitely worth a visit. I'm sure the little ones would love it!

Hi everybody! I'm just popping in for my lunchtime hello!

I am under the impression that Tea with Wendy is targeted to the younger kids. Is that true?

I love the green bracelets, and the glowy things, and the pirate tattos, and the pencils. I'd better get my back end busy if I want to bring a gift too.
I am actually working on my Christmas shopping right now so I won't have to worry about in Nov and Dec.

If airline tickets get much lower and gas prices get much higher we may end up flying down to the cruise. It costs $36 to get from here to Tifton. So, right now my total gas expense to Port Canaveral and back is going to be about $200.

OH, and one other thing

Good work on 6000 Angie!

I knew you could do it!

We will drive from Montgomery, but I know what you mean. The gas cost for driving to central Fla. has skyrocketed in the last couple of years.

Good Afternoon Everyone!

Patsy - I have also been Christmas Shopping! I try to get one thing everytime I go to the store so it doesn't seem like I am spending a fortune when Nov. and Dec. roll around!

The Tea with Wendy is basically Wendy telling a story. The kids get iced tea and a cookie. It only lasts about 20 min. It was cute for the kids. Go...you have nothing to lose! Monday with Wendy sounds great!

WOW! We made it home! :) We stopped at McD's after a quick break at home after swim lessons, then tried to get some deals at Staples...just pencils left ACK!...Walmart for some sun catcher supplies to keep the kids busy, found some scrapbook stuff marked WAY down for WM, then to the library for story time. They are doing crafts & a video along with the story with the special program so we were there 1 1/2 hours. WHEW! Gave me a break. ;)

I always finish my shopping by March. :) It makes it nice not to have the big bills in January.
