Well, it seems that DD got her wish. She found a LE Cinderella pin with $1 in her TF pillow this morning. Her curtains are pulled back this morning. I think that she was trying to see if she could spot the fairy on her way out of here. She did tell me to unlock her window last night to make it easier.

My DD is very excited for your DD, she just lost her first tooth a month ago. She will be sending e-mail shortly.

What do you think of the "glowey" necklaces for everyone. My DD LOVES them and I could get them in all colors or just green. They might be fun for the pirate night or some other night party.

And by the way - we won the court case!!! The court sent the judgement via snail mail and I tore it opened last night. Basically the judge said that the contractor did not built it according to the specs of the contract and therefore the contract was null and void and we didn't owe him final payment. We only got partial on our counter claim b/c we didn't have an expert witness to cooberate (sp?) the evidence. The judget sure wrote like he wanted to give us the money but needed that impartial expert to agree with all our damages. I'm just thrilled that the whole thing is behind us. I'm not sure we will ever see the money that is due to us...but at least we don't have to pay that slimy contractor. All in all, we're still out money b/c of the repairs we have to do....but again...one chapter down. Now if he is silly enough to appeal....welll bring out the witnesses and at this next level, the amount of damages we can sue almost triples....and we have that much in damages. Again - surely he can't be this dumb.

Thanks to everyone for all their well wishes and prayers. I know it was prayer that got us thru this...

In addition to the Wal Mart school supply sale that started today (and your store may not have its shelves stocked yet; mine was working on it), you can get some bargains at Staples. Folders for a penny (limit 15), box of 12 pencils for penny (limit 3) and I think sharpeners for a penny (my store was out).

Love the tale of the loose tooth. My oldest lost her first tooth down the bathroom sink because I suggested she swish out her mouth with some water because it was bleeding a bit. Swish and down the drain it went! Mommy guilt had me under the sink taking the pipes apart and retrieving the tooth in the curve.

I have decided that you all must be saints. I have friends who are not as nice as you are all. Lisa, you are unbelievable! All the work you have done and continue to do.... It's amazing. I can't wait to meet you all and I have only been on this board a few weeks. Really, you are all amazing.. Maybe it's because you all care about your families so much.

Not really, Kim. It's just that some of us have been there & gone thru the same thing. We can probably meet before the cruise in WDW so that your DD gets a look at us & gets to meet DD, DS, & maybe even John's DD. We will be getting to OKW on Wednesday afternoon with no plans....just DTD & the pool probably. On Thursday we will go to MGM, then DTD on Friday with a couple character meals thrown in if we go with the dining plan. Friday night is Jelly Rolls with the kids together upstairs...so they will get a chance to watch a movie & get to know each other some more. DD will love showing your DD around the terminal Saturday morning. She is already calling her her new best friend & John's DD is her old best friend. We might get the 3 Amigos by the end of the cruise.

It really wont be a problem to ask the server to add an extra chair to the table. We will be at an 8 top with John's family & PJ. A chair will fit on the end just fine & your DD wont take up much room. We could always drop the girls at the club after they eat if something is going on. You would just have to give them our name for that night to either check them in or out if they decide not to stay. You can even make up a different password for us.

Don't worry about the brunch on Monday or the wine & cheese on Thursday because DD & company will be in the club then too. We can promise them something for staying in for a couple hours. No, I am not above bribery...especially when a Mickey Bar is so easy to get on the ship. On our second cruise John's DD stayed with us up at the pool while they went into Cozumel (we docked that time). The kids were playing after lunch & they figured they would just skip it. Maybe we have just been lucky & had great experiences on the ship in the past...but reading other's reports I don't think that it was a matter of luck. The Magic wont be like the "grown up cruise" you guys went on last time. It has an atmosphere all its own. Warning.....it is very adictive. Be prepared to rebook onboard.

Yeah...PJ thought that she was on a cruise where the meets thread would be easy to keep up with & the group was pretty quiet. NOT! You have done a great job adjusting to things since we got back from the 12/10/05 cruise. There have been lots of newcomers since then too. It's amazing how the group has grown!

Good morning all!!! Opening up the thread. I start my new position today - big supervisor. Should be interesting. But that means my hours change and so does a bunch of other stuff. We'll see how it goes.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. They are calling for a week of thundershowers so we'll see how the basement holds up. I think we now have some temporary fixes that will limit water from entering the basement. I hope!
