There are always two sides to every story but from watching this video, I would have to agree with what I have read on a couple other sites, that I think the boy was doing something behind Tigger's back and Tigger went to stop him and he accidently hit him.

I have to agree Amy. Watching the video it looked more like a reflex reaction when Tigger hit him, like he was trying to stop him from doing something behind his back, not something he was doing to just be mean. KWIM?

Brandi is flying high right now! Phily wins!! Talk about coming down to the wire!!

Congrats!!

Actually John, it has become a favourite because, somehow we always end up on it, every time we hit Epcot, we do the RT. We have never eaten in Mexico or bought anything, but we have ridden the ride time and time again, so now it is a must do. I haven't done it the last two trips because DM has not been with me. She is excited to see the changes.

Pickin' on me again eh?

Tell me you love those dated film clips!

John1
I laughed when you wrote about the people in the clips. I totally agree - dated. DD was afraid of the carrousel thing with the people/puppets dancing around when she first went on it. I tried to explain it was similar to IASW and she said NO Way, she didn't like them.

How would you know John, been caught in there yourself, lol.

Pj

You don't even want to know what club Libby Lu is . . .

Just what little girls love, and their dads don't want to be caught dead in.

John1
Never heard of it. I just looked it up - oh tooooo bad its way in Natick. oh I would find that very painful myself. Actually this is a good thing DD hates things on her face.

Are any of you going to Disney the first full week of June???? How about the second full week in August????

We are making good use of our AP's.

Sorry Brandi . . . you won't CATCH me at WDW in the summer. Too darn HOT. Too darn crowded!

John1

Ok, the teen in the video is wearing weight lifting gloves, who wears those to the parks? And we all know that there is always some kind of interaction before the family/group poses for the picture, so what happened during that time.

Pj

Hmmmm . . . I will have to tell Amy to leave her gloves at home in March. She will be heartbroken.

John1

Okay, I was just asked about watching DaVinci Code, Sentinel, Invicible, Transporter 2 or something else I didn't catch. It's between Invincible or Sentinel. I think I'll pick the one that is the shorter one.

Well . . . They have one in Easton Village Mall in Columbus, and when I was in Columbus for the School Board Thing, I made a trip there (to go to the Apple Store). The ONLY places I went shopping were Club Libby Lu for Sophia, and L'Occitane (spelling?) for Amy.

I almost GAG every time I walk into the Libby Lu store - cheap, sweet, little girl perfume just reeks in there. I was the ONLY person in there, and had three teeny-bopper employees helping me pick out a gift for Sophia.

Both stores I felt just a bit out of my element.

John1

Just paid my DVC dues, that ALWAYS makes me want to book an immediate trip. :sad1:

I got my statement that mine are paid. Direct Debit monthly.

Since we are going in March, I am OK.

John1

So, Kim...Kaitlyn wants to know if Savannah will be going to Epcot with her too before the cruise. ????? ;)

Oh yes! Definitley. We are booked right now at the poly for all day Wed, Thurs, Fri at the parks. There is a flight late tuesday night I can get for free at super savers points that gets us in really late Tuesday, but then we don't waste an entire day traveling.

And, I have paid off the cruise except for $148. Long Long Story, but it acutally makes the most financial sense, really I promise.

I have to pay off the poly next....

yes I know and it is sad for such a small city. Not what they need right now in this recovery period when conferences are starting to book into the city.
There is a big health care meeting there that Carla and Ken will be attending - I know this is the type of thing that scares conference goers.

Steve will be there the 28th - 31st of January.

Hooo Boy!

That sounds like a fun group to be around!

Is the reception financed by Levitra?

(I'm joking, but probably right)

John1

I could not find a list of the sponsors, but I found this session that looks interesting
:45 - 9:05 a.m.

State-of-the-art Lecture
Minimally-invasive Treatment of Adult Male Urethral Strictures
Jerilyn M. Latini, M.D.

I'm not really thinking about it at the moment. I'm staying at one of the hotels by the conference center. I suppose I should know the name shouldn't I. I haven't been there in years and years. I remember it was the most fantastic food place I ever went though. We went to K Pauls. I loved Cafe du Monde's beignets - that's what made me stay at WDW's Port Orleans - yum. I have not had those - oh man what are they called - fried little dunkin munchin donut things - they aren't donuts though - anyway I have never had a good one since New Orleans. Just remembered HUSH PUPPIES! Those things were yummy.

The thing about some of these conferences is people go out and drink and drink and drink and drink. No conversation or fun. No dancing or site seeing (other than the "clubs" on Bourbon Street). That's not my scene. First of all its boring and at the end of the day I am exhausted between trying to make sure they are getting home ok and not driving. Oy! Fortunately my boss and company isn't about that so I get to duck out on some events going in that direction.

Oh funny story - years ago when I went down Bourbon St for the first time I walked the whole thing with my mouth hanging wide open. Boy was I naive. :lmao: Some guy came out of this club as we were all walking by and asked my friend (blond gorgeous) if she wanted to come have a drink. She said thanks no thanks. She would have been enslaved and shipped off to parts unknown. We still laugh about it.

The first time I went, I could not figure out why there were so many men with beads on the balconies....

The next day I went back and it was gay pride day and steve got propositioned... That look was priceless...

$148?

OK someday you will have to explain to me about the $148.

Just saw who WILL be sponsoring that conference at Disneyland . . . Flomax.

I am so tired of these commercials on ESPN, I could just SCREAM!

John1
