This was the night we were making Mickey shaped rice krispie treats. We put Eliza into the pack and play to keep her out of trouble. Well...she was not happy....not happy at all!!! She loved that little doll house. She just didn't like it in her pack and play. She used it to try and escape. You can't see her face but she was screaming and freaking out. We put the pack and play away....obviously she won!

While everyone was posting, I was (of course) watching the Tar Heels defeat Penn! Go HEELS!

Brandi, I made a Shutterfly photo book as a thank you for my parents ... made myself get it done and be happy with my choices and not keep changing... wanted them to have it quickly to show everyone. Mom says it turned out very nice (I didn't order a second for myself, so I haven't seen it yet ... other than the online preview).

Christmas Eve. No tinsel on our tree. We were afraid Eliza would try to eat it.

That is great! I am trying to get mine done.

Hannah and Walt have birthday parties to attend this weekend... so of course I have to shop tomorrow. Such a problem with birthdays this time of year (and yes, I'm part of the problem!!!). Oh well, at least I know that the little boy can use accessories for his Imaginext castle, and the girl would like more for her Littlest Pet Shop!

I wanted to show you the little table on the pic. We can't let Eliza near it! She constantly climbs onto it and stands on it. Then she starts to scream because she can't go higher or get down!!!!! Why did Santa bring that frustration into our house...why...why!!!! :rotfl:

Wow! Santa had a lot to drop off at your house!

I can honestly say that we NEVER buy toys or unneeded things for the kids throughout the year. Birthdays and Christmas are major spoil times. That is how it was for both Jason and I when we were growing up and that is how we want it for the kids. I was just trying to show you the pic of the table. We thought it would be great for the kids...but it is a total PITB! We had to put it downstairs!

Good Point Angie.

Alex was an exception to that rule, as being away a week had little effect if any for him. We can only hope that Sophia is as successful.

We would probably have to drag DGS with us kicking and screaming. He LOVES Disney and LOVES to travel with grandma and grandpa, but he absolutely refuses to miss any school now. Crazy! :confused3 His dentist called and moved his appt from 3 to 2:30, he said nope, I have school, they will have to reschedule to a day when they can see me at 3 or later. :teacher: He got behind a bit in his freshman year because he did not do a couple of assignments and he decided it is WAY easier to just go to school everyday and do every assignment than to try and make up/catch up.

At least he has the right attitude!

It was all cute with the coordinated paper!
Everyone I know has a small table set that their kids love... we never got one (or took someone's hand me down) because I thought they would be used for trouble! We have a small rocking chair is enough of a problem!

Target has clearance toys that would help you out. :)

Angie how are you feeling? I hope the virus has left the building aka your house.

I'm fine, thanks. Luckily it only lasts about 10 hours and then you just feel drained and yuck for several more hours. Blows a whole day, but that is it. Dennis has been feeling unsettled in his stomach today. He was not working so that was good. Hope he does not get sick in the night because he does have a job to go to tomorrow - 11 hour day.:rolleyes1

Santa used the same princess wrapping paper at our house. :)
