Hmmmmm.....this will show my lack of construction knowledge.....but I believe the correct answer is takeoff. He wants to bring the big set of rolled up white plans, his special rulers, etc. so he can plug ##'s into his EXCEL program. :sad2:

Could be either....Whats he do for his job?

My kids still touch everything and put their hands in their mouths. I have the anti-bacterial gel but that won't do much good in the Clubs, etc.. They can't be in a gel bubble 24/7.....
The best thing about the clubs is they teach great hygenie! Squirt of soap as soon as you walk in! :thumbsup2

Becka, there is someone sick on every cruise. Some people didn't even know about it. You are right though...you can't live in a bubble.

Oh I know someone is always sick but from the DIS thread it sounds like it was quite a few. That is what has me concerned.

Yes depress me. I have a 6 1/2 year old in my 40s. How old will I be when DD is 25
I don't know. I haven't taken the onboad math class yet. :rolleyes1

Umm..hello.

Lisa, we have another newbie.

Hi, what's your name? Are you on the 12/9 cruise? What deck are you on?
Any kids? We have a DD, 13yo. I have a few questions for you...ready? :confused3

I saw that but honestly with less than 24 hours to go I can't add anything else to my brain.

ACK! You reminded me I need a better shirt! Problem with this is my capris are brown pinstripped.

if you have a cami...i have a really cool pirate-like shirt too that is cream colored. It has wide pirate sleeves and distressed edges to the fabric...

Very piratish....

I was going to wear it before we started in with the actual garb...

Okay -- hello everyone!!

I am officially 2 and a half days behind in reading posts. Between packing and life...I go the bug and have been in bed.

John - I heard about your family's loss. I am so sorry.

Now bear with me as I post from 2 days ago posts....gosh wonder how many pages I'm behind...anyone want to guess? 500?
:grouphug: :grouphug: :grouphug:

Hope you feel better! We are behind, so respond to EVERYTHING!! ;)

I am so furious at DD's music teacher. she okayed DD to review the shows on board the ship. DD even contacted DCL about a one on one with the performers. Today she hands DD a sheet of three topics that she wants papers done on by Friday. these are not real easy topics either. I have PM'd Brandi because one of them is very similar to the thesis paper Brandi just did. I don't get it. If we hadn't talked with her prior to this, I could understand but we have talked numerous times and she was fine with DD doing something related to the cruise. Now we have to help her get not one or two but three papers done by Friday. She just finished a term paper that had to be done prior to the cruise. I just need to vent a little before I try finding info for her. I don't usually help her this much but this is asking a lot from a 10th grader who has other class work.

MY sentiments exactly!!!

When I reminded him of his two DS's who will not take kindly to dear 'ole Dad working on vacation.....he said he'd get up in the middle of the night to work.

To which I replied:

Yea, right.

Deep breaths. Cruise almost here. Let DH do whatever he wants. Deep breahts.

So where does he plan to spread this stuff out? If you are sleeping there wont be any room in the stateroom. :confused3 In the middle of the atrium by the light of the giant Christmas tree perhaps???

OK Amy are you happy now? :sad2: This baby thing continues to propogate itself days later. I don't want people on the ship to start stoning me when they see me with a drink. :sad2:

Anyone who has cruised Disney int eh past - r nice jeans okay for dinner?

Jeans are legal on DCL but you wont see many of them on the 7 day cruises in the dining room. There are always exceptions of course. We witnessed lovely people making a scene coming to dinner an hour late in shorts & armpit tees on formal night. :rolleyes1
