I know no one wants to be sick and all but I also have to worry because my daughter has "Emetophobia" which is an extreme and irrational fear of throwing up or seeing someone throw up. She will go into full on panic if she witnesses anyone getting that sick. :sad2:

Oh my gosh! - My best friend's daughter has that but I've never heard her use that name for it before. If it's not too persoanl, is she receiving treatment of any kind?[/QUOTE]

She developed it almost 3 years ago and we did get her counseling in the beginning. It helped quite a bit. Our doctor told us that when she gets really anxious about it giving her a benedryl can actually help calm her down. He told us that benedryl has some anti-anxiety qualities to it. Also we let her take a ginger capsule when her stomach gets nervous. She knows ginger is an anti-nausea so it also has a calming effect for her to know that it can help keep her from throwing up.

Tell your friend to search "Emetophobia" on the internet, she'll find that this is actually much more common than you'd think and there are some helpful tips out there to help her daughter cope. :grouphug:

Thanks so much - I will pass the info. on to her. Let's all pray for calm seas and I guess you and I need to pray we bring the right clothes for dinner, hee hee.

I just talked to our DCL dining coordinator & she said that we are the the right of the dining rooms together along the windows. :)

Just have to ask.... What is a hysterical renovation?

you have to be in the planning /building trades to understand that one KIM...

Hysterical = historical (but most of the time it's hysterical what the boards will require for building in those zones.)

She said that they can't pull the tables across the dining room as well in the other sections so they put the larger parties in that area. We are all next to each other in two of the dining rooms and just a few tables a little ways in the other. :thumbsup2 She is such a nice person to talk to. I told her about our plans & she wishes she could come.
