Jeans are legal on DCL but you wont see many of them on the 7 day cruises in the dining room. There are always exceptions of course. We witnessed lovely people making a scene coming to dinner an hour late in shorts & armpit tees on formal night.

This virus thing has me really scared. Does DCL do anything special when there's a case like this? Like do they take more care to spray lysol and make sure rooms and the kids clubs, etc are more sanitized?

I know no one wants to be sick and all but I also have to worry because my daughter has "Emetophobia" which is an extreme and irrational fear of throwing up or seeing someone throw up. She will go into full on panic if she witnesses anyone getting that sick.

Our first cruise was throw up city. the first night was extremely rough. the servers kept the wine buckets around for people to use. during dinner something large crashed in the back room. I ended up having to take dramimine (sp). the next morning the captain made a general announcement aplogizing for the rough seas. he said he was even out cleaning up places where people had gotten sick. the next cruise we went on didn't have any rough seas. I hope we avoid them this time also.

Just the 4 night for us and while I felt a tad bit naseous the first night it was not too bad and I never saw anyone get sick. Blech!

Lisa, it's ok, I am so flustered if DH gives me one more look about the amount of luggage I am going to burst into tears! I just can't add one more thing. I totally understand! Its a good thing we have people like Karen and Andy who can actually laugh through planning. I cannot imagine 20 of me running around packing!

Kevin, I have set up a group photo album for the DISers on snapfish. You should be able to get quite a few pictures from those. Hope that you can borrow one for the trip.

I have to hit the Mall tomorrow......there's a Bath & Body Works there. What kind did they have?

They have a bunch of different scents. I got a couple Cucumber Melon (my favorite BBW scent), Country Apple and Pink Grapefruit.

where did you get your camera from? we had a problem with our camcorder that we bought from circuit city right before we cruised in 2003. it had to be sent out for repairs but the store manager let us take another one from the store and use it. he was really great and made our day. we only buy our big electronic purchases from them now since they were kind enough to do that.

My 4 m.o. old Canon dSLR camera just stopped working on me!

Now I won't be able to take any pics on our cruise. I need to send it in to Canon for repair. Ugghhhh!
