I finished typing my research paper. WOO HOO!!! I only need to proof read it and turn it in. I never like to proof it immediatly after I finish (especially this late at night.) I prefer to redo things the following day. I feel relieved. I only have to check it and upload it!!! I can almost see my masters degree diploma...

Don't misunderstand me. When I was 16 I knew everything too it was only after I had kids that I became stupid!

Hey thanks you guys! I had a really bad day too and since you will all see me I am going to tell you why. I have skin cancer on my face. Not a really big deal because they take them off really fast and it is just an hour office visit, but today I had 3 "problematics" taken off and I have lovely black stitches on both sides of my face. The stitches come out Tuesday, but today I look a lot like frankenstien. I am hoping they will all be perfect by next monday, and they should be very very light then. The plastic surgeon who takes them off is really good and has done a great job in the past. I am bummed because I figure if I am going to a plastic surgeon I want something good. Anyway the anesthetic is wearing off and I am going to take a tiny pain pill to sleep for just tonight. Really this is not a big deal, I am just telling you why it was so cool to read all your posts! (and in case I still look like frankenstien)

DH had skin cancer removed from his forehead about a year ago. I don't recall him looking like frankenstein for too long so I'm sure you'll look fine by the time we sail.

Were they able to get it all out? No radiation needed?

Thanks Becka! I knew you all would understand! It's just been a wierd day with everyone staring at me. And yes, I am very very grateful to catch it early. Word to the wise everyone, pay attention to anything that grows on your face and does not go away.

I'm really neurotic about this now... checking all moles, growths, etc... not only on the face but everywhere... DH had 3 pre-cancerous spots on his back and one cancer on his forehead. He doesn't even spend much time in the sun so it seemed really odd. ALWAYS use sunblock!!! His dermatologist said just one sunburn can cause skin cancer!
