I was complaining to DH and discussing my general inability to focus on completing all of this work I have to do. I just can't focus. This was the conversation:

Me: Blah Blah whine whine Can't focus. So much work to do today - items due this morning. Tedious line by line review of document...queue the sound of Charlie Brown's teacher talking. Easily distracted.
DH: Why do you think that is?
Me: Because I'm tired. I just want to go on vacation I can't focus on anything
DH: Nothing?
Me: Nothing!
DH: Have you looked at anything else today?
Me: What do you mean?
DH: Like the Disney board?
Me: Huh?!
DH: The board (I really tried to feign ignorance in my HUH - it clearly didn't work ) - when was the last time you were there
Me: last night?!
DH: laughing - right - how about this morning?
Me: (panicked - is he lurking OMG) Why do you say that?
DH: You just mentioned you can't focus
Me: Well of course I can focus I'm focused on going on vacation. They help me.(No joke - you guys are my therapy)

Then we both just started laughing
Man, he knows me too too well.

Same here! I'm trying to figure out how many 1's and 5's I'll need for tips, how many quarters for tolls and then how much cash I'll need for Costa Maya (I know I need about $200 for the Ruins tour) and Cozumel. What about shopping in these ports... is cash suggested? I'm guessing some places may not take credit cards. What about travelers checks? Anyone have suggestions?

We do not use CCs on the islands. I have always taken TCs (which reminds me I need to get more for this trip!!! We do use cash as well, but I do not like taking alot of it. I will be sending David pp for the CM tour this week.

I am back from the doctor.

Diagnosis: Strep Throat

The doctor is treating me and Nathan right now (he was complaining of a sore throat earlier). She will call in a prescription for DH if he shows any symptoms and apparently Allie is too young to get strep.

I am glad I went in and I am also thankful that this should be cleared up before our trip. I hope the antibiotics kick in soon.

I hope that is all it is. If so, you will feel better tomorrow morning. Did they test you for the flu? If you don't feel better, go back within 2 days. They did a strep test on DD 2 years ago because I had it too. She didn't get better. Three days later she was close to being admitted with influencial pneumonia. The doctor stopped when he had one positive test come back instead of checking for all of the symptoms.

what about carrying on a liquor box? You know the kind they pack up your liquor in on the islands, holds 4 or 6 bottles? Do you think I could bring that onboard or does it have to be a rolling cooler?

Well if DCL knows we are coming then surely TSA has been tipped off - especially about the wireless bunch! I think you should just flash them a lime green Mickey head and that will suffice for an explanation!
