Hi all . I have not posted on this thread at all (I did when it first started. Had very good intentions at the time, but life just got to nuts!) But have lurked the whole time!

Anyway I had a question for those who have already gotten their Docs. We are not living in our house right now due to renovation work and that is where my docs will be going to. When UPS delivered them did you have to sign for them? I can't remember from our last cruise and I just wanted to give the guys a heads up about it if they have to be signed for. Thanks in advance for replies!

Can't believe this cruise is only 10 days away Seems like such a long time ago that we booked it and now it's almost here!

We made a wreath this year to look like mickey!!! It turned out so well!!! I will have to take a pic to show you guys!!!!

I probably will regret staying this but a few years ago I made a Mickey wreath for our front door. I took a regular round wreath and attached two wreath balls (just round balls made of the same material). I think took gold and red jingle bells and tied them into set of 3 to look like Mickey heads and then attached them to the wreath. It actually turned out pretty good.

YEAH......we are sooooo close now!!!!!! My last day of work is one week from today

I called Costco yesterday because I just noticed my zip code was incorrect on my confirmation page from a year ago. Anywho, when I called the travel agent she said they haven't recieved our documents yet. This was yesterday........some maybe we will be doing the happy dance sometime next week

Confession: I am a last minute shopper. The green shirts on the page are gone......what is everyone else doing that wasn't able to get them???????

Becka - thanks for your packing list - I decided to bring a neat sheet too.

We got the large one and it worked well on CC last February. It made for a nice area for the kids to play on - especially for DD.

Target - went a little nuts

DFIL got a polo shirt
DS - easel on sale for 15
ME - SD card for like 7.00
DVD player for our basement for 25.00
Lots of movies for gifts and for ourselves.
Odds and ends and stocking stuffers. All sorts of good stuff!!!!

Then we came home!!!!!

Just ready about all of your shopping is making me more tired!

I told Dave this weekend that when he sees all the people in lime green shirts, that they are they people I've been online with. All he said was "are we wearing lime green shirts?"

Ok...this is my 1000th post. Not a big deal for some but a sure sign to confirm my addiction here....BUSTED!

First of all, I wasn't waiting for the perfect post to respond to...although I've been scanning 3,000 of John's posts all morning...just kidding John. But if I have to see the words "Mac", "banana", "speedo", or "Wii" one more time...

I was watching the Travel Channel Disney Cruise Line episode last night....its enough to drive a person crazy. Just nodding my head and saying, "yep, yep" because by now everything on there was sooooo old. Except for the clips about the rainforest spa: No thongs? Guess we need to write the Travel Channel about that - they must have filmed in the wrong place. The show is going to air again Dec 14, 15 and 18th if anyone is interested and...wanted to stay home to watch it.

Only 10 more days of posting left...yes, I will be posting as DW is screaming around the house trying to get the last minute packing done, usually the night before the flight 3 am....she mentioned that we need to start packing; no, we haven't started. I'll wait until the night before - she'll rattle off the list and I'll throw clothes her way; I don't pack, I fill orders...

In a little over a week, I will have to put my memory to the test and try to recognize everyone. I am trying to remember all of the photos that have been posted since I got on here and put the login names to them, then try to remember the real names...its a lot easier when I put the photo to the login, then the login to the name, then the word WANTED and an image of a post office, not sure why that is...but it helps!

Top 20 Things To Look Forward To, or...errrr...Look OUT For.
1. Deck 6 Streaking - Look out! Get in the elevator at 5 and push 7! Do not push 6, nothing to see here...
2. Seeing the black limos and security detachment as Lisa pulls up in front of the terminal....body doubles with clip boards running in all directions trying to disguise the true Leader...
3. The Terminal - Look forward to (Look out, for the DISers who haven't made that "announcement" yet (confession??, whatever). The sea of lime green and the weird looks from non-DISers - not looks of "wow, that's weird" but of "what have we gotten into?" - I think DCL should setup a Cancellations line at the terminal - they'll probably need it. It'll be right next to the DISer UPGRADE line, right?
4. Going "wireless" at Baltimore / Washington International Airport...depends if Karen is in front of or behind me, and how close the exits are - LOOK OUT!
5. Pirate Night - Look Forward to - haven't seen the costume completed and if last nights call from DMIL is any indication...(I thought DW was going to jump through the phone... - LOOK OUT!
6. Dinners - Look forward to....there are going to be so many clueless faces of DHs who are still recovering from the Terminal Incident, as it will be called. I hope I can keep a straight face..And Brunch at Palo...Look forward to....Have to remember to ask for my Soufle without crust!
7. Counting the number of times that the word "crust" is used when ordering at dinner - Look forward to.
8. Reading the extra page of the Navigator, devoted to the DISGeeks...subtitled "Non-Disers Beware" (catchy title)- Look forward to.
9. Meeting all of the twins...ok, first finding out who the twins are..THEN meeting them. Look Forward to.
10. Watching the boarding of the Flying Dutchman, or the capture of CJS as he TRIES to board the boat...umm ship, yelling TAKE WHAT YOU CAN! - Look forward to, in either case.
11. Discussions about poor math during the Remedial Math Class - LOOK OUT!
12. Hearing the master speak, "Stealing Pirates : Prepare to be DISBOARDED", seminar by Brack - Look forward to.
13. Finding out what other DisSurprises DW has in store for me - she planned this trip! - Not sure, guess it would be Look forward to...
14. Bathroom Bat Goes on vacation - Nathan relives the Bathroom bat incident in the Goofy Pool - LOOK OUT!
15. Jeep tour - Look forward to. I think the shear number of jeeps in the group will look like a small army invading the beaches of Cozumel..."They came by boat, so many good Corona's and Margaritas were lost that fateful day...
16. The night at Jelly Rolls - Look forward to. Always.
17. Run for the Hammocks - In this case, look behind to see where John is...OK, Look forward to...Does everyone have their numbers?
18. Seeing the posters of John in the banana suit posted on decks 4 through 9...funny. LOOK FORWARD TO! Wait, did I let that out of the bag, sorry.
19. Heated battles over Mac vs PC at dinner, in the corridors, at the pool, on the beach, in the spa, etc....LOOK OUT...And debates over the need for a tripod and it relationship to the size of equipment and bags, again LOOK OUT.

And, last and most important....

Number 20. Watching Lisa work her Magic for the crowds...LOOK FORWARD TO.

Everyone ready? Ipods ready? Disney Santa hats on? Kids clothes coordinated by color, dining assignment, day of the week, phase of the moon, and alphabetical order? Liquor on board? I repeat, Liquor on board? DIS Goodies in hand? All Wireless items secured? Copy of US Maritime Law in hand? (Caroline, are you sure?)

Although with the bathroom bats it is the Mickey pool you want to watch out for not the Goofy pool!

Thanks John for the offer to get us Santa hats. I probably should check with DH to make sure he would wear it. He has been a pretty good sport about all of this but I don't know if Santa Mickey ears combined with those lime green shirts is going to go over too well.

Becka - is this the same man that has no problem walking around with an unidentifiable creature on his shoulder???
