I must be the only one who doesn't like these all that much.

No you aren't, though I showed them to DD & she went gaga over them. I'm not paying over $20 for a pair of shoes for her though. Kids are just too rough on them.

I think everyone should start taking bets on when I will be packed. We plan on leaving early on the 3rd. I'll start!

Sunday, Dec 3rd...5 minutes before we leave!

I'll probably still be looking for more even after I leave. I'll still have a week before cruise time. Give me an inch...

I have given myself a self-imposed deadline of being completely packed by this upcoming Sunday evening (Dec 3rd). I only hope now that I start feeling better really, really soon or that is not going to happen.

Yeah, that is what it was suppose to be for me, . I only have one day that will not be with DISers , and I had to add that on to the beginning of my trip, lol.

Actually, DD is odd - she does not like anything painted on her face. Aurora kissed her and she stood there all stiff and she had this cute lipstiick kiss which she whispered to me after - can we leave so I can wipe this off. One year she was Jojo for Halloween and no nose. No Disney cool face painting - nada. So tell me why last April did she write on her forehead with a marker?

Because it wasn't paint???

Okay- my day....got in at 6AM to try to get ahead of the game...by 7AM I was soooo far behind.

Best part ------ several of my employees were complaining about a new lady's perfume. It is very strong. So I had to "mention" it to her. Gosh that was hard. The lady is so sweet and nice....I hope she took it the right way. This is one area of supervision that I will fail miserably!!! Confrontations.

I have been awake almost 40 minutes now...it is almost time for my next nap. I am starting to feel the exhaustion again. Maybe I can get a few more pages in....

My turn for a crazy cruise dream . . . but mine was more recent . . .

I dreamed that Caroline posted all the way to 57,999 last night, and left it there for me to get the since I was getting up early this morning. To my chagrin, Brack got up with JoJo ahead of me (pesky dog had to go out) and snagged the from me! I think he posted something about Mac users being slow on the draw.

Woke up in a cold sweat.

Hi everyone. Ernie hadn't really moved since Wednesday, except when we forced him to stand up and go outside. I don't think he was eating either. We decided to take him to the vet this morning. We also decided to bring the kids with us to say goodbye. I told them that the vet was going to send him away so he could feel better (not a lie, right?) but Nick (7 1/2) was a little too smart for that story -- he's really very empathetic -- and started crying when we told him it was time to say goodbye. Which then set me off. I was just fine up until that point. He's still a little sad -- he said "it's hard to say goodbye to an old friend." Ugh. But I think he'll be okay and I felt it was important that we didn't rob the kids of a chance to say goodbye. I think, in a few years, they would have been sad that they didn't get the chance to, otherwise. Sarah doesn't really understand -- she just knows that Ernie was sick and he's gone away. Nick hasn't said the words but I think he knows he's gone. DH and I have made our peace. We went to the gym to workout afterward and I spent a good half hour just sweating it out. I know it was the right thing to do... Ernie had been sleeping on his paws so much the last few days that he was surely going to lose them to gangrene or something. Anyway, thanks for all the well wishes and hugs -- I really appreciate them! I joked to DH that I needed a canine grief counselor, and he said "do you really?" and I said "no, I've got friends on the DIS for that". He said to go ahead and post away!

I am so sorry Joy! You know you did the right thing but it still just rips your heart out.
