DD sat on the counter and watched me fix it up this morning. She asked me where the head was when I pulled out the neck. She then asked me where the feet were when I told her those big bones on the sides were the legs.

Every kid needs to visit a farm at chicken time.

My uncle had chickens and I remember going there one time and the whole family helped in their demise. Dad and uncle did the chopping, I think my mom and a brother dropped them in the hot water, and the rest of us did the plucking. I must have been 4 or 5.

I also remember the headless chickens knocking over the trashcan they were put in and running around...

Each bedroom has its own color hangers....DD has the silver with attachment, DS has the white with attachment, DH & I have the others without the attachment. Simple really.
