When I was little i used to beg my mom to let me take the neck and other parts outs, I loved it. I would carry that stuff around and torment my sisters. I really think I was meant to be a DR or nurse or something.....

The house is clean, the tables are set, the bird is baking, potatoes are pealed, onion casserole ready to be baked, broccoli ready to cook. I am now taking a few min. to relax!!! It is especially nice right now because Eliza is asleep and Jake is quietly playing. DH is sleeping on the couch. This place will become a mad house by 5:00!!!! I hope you are all enjoying the day.

I hope that you have a wonderful dinner with your family! Everything is put away & cleaned up here. Dinner was great but DS decided that he couldn't stand to be surrounded by so much food. This year I put everything on the table instead of on the stove. He ended up spending the time in his room. DD enjoyed the turkey tremendously and dipped it in the gravy alot. She even liked the cranberry sauce (jelled version ).

I am cruising some sites for deals today while DD watches TV. She might just fall asleep again today.

I went to the Doctors this morning and now i am at home resting, still sick, had to cancel my training session at the DS, it would not have been appropriate to be around the public like this.

Will have chicken in mushroom sauce and mashed potatoes for dinner, with some veg or other.

Just playing cards on pogo, and checking out other threads on the DIS.

Dishes are done and leftovers are put away. John is outside picking up the leaves one last time. All the outside lights are up,(thanks to John), now we just have the inside "stuff" to worry about. Three trees and various other "stuff". I don't know if we will do that today or wait until tomorrow night and Saturday. We both have to work tomorrow.

When John gets done we will have dessert, pumpkin pie, apple pie and pumpkin roll (would I dare put all three on my plate at once???). One of my employees made the pumpkin roll for me (as a Thanksgiving gift), she is the best little baker!!

Kristina - my turkey's neck was pretty much frozen to the inside - sometimes you just can't separate it.

Duh that's where it was.... DH found it as we were cleaning up and carving the last of it.....

But the giblets were definately not in it.....

I put up all the lights today. I also put up an eight foot blow up caroling Mickey my brother bought us (Sophia wanted it up) Amy does not really care for it though . . . .

Today the outside, tomorrow night, the inside!

Luckily i got to the gym right before class started but boy was the gym crowded.....

The class was filled up...Luckily one person had cancelled so i took their spot...

I came on to say that I have started to dream about you all and the trip. It started with waiting at the upgrade desk (described by John in an earlier post) with Lisa ahead of me (you got your upgrade Lisa) and my turn came up a cat 1 was available - yes I could have it no problem for an additional $14,000. - Thanks but no. I saw people in various areas of the terminal and then it started to get bizarre. We went off to another dock (why did we do that ???) driving in a rental car. DH and this guy decided to go somewhere to look at cameras and then they decided to have a contest blindfolded of taking a camera a part and putting it back together. I don't know who these people were but the woman was a supermodel looking type and the daughter was as well. All the time I am thinking if we miss the sail away I'll kill these people.
Weird huh.

It's my free Price Chopper turkey - John do you give turkeys? I figure it's going full circle.

I love the smell of roasting turkey - although pulling the frozen neck out at 5:30am could make me swear off eating it for a while.

No free turkeys at our store. No card here.

I think that it is just the time for us to start having cruise dreams. Remember...bad dreams mean a great cruise. The other night I dreamt that we booked 2 rooms to cut the cost like Caroline did but they were on two different decks on opposite ends of the ship. Someone had the bright idea to use one as a closet and sleep in the other. OY! I walked alot in that dream going from one stateroom to the other when we kept forgetting things.

I am in the back seat of our car with my DS driving down I85 in Virginia. We are going to MIL's house in NC.

The cool thing is that my DS's laptop has a wireless card so I can post at 70mph!

Sprint. It is cool. Currently we are in a real rural area the signal is a little slow but I am posting at 70mph! Who can complain?
