You should not have any problem taking medical equipment thru security. Check with TSA, but DrHug always carries his c-pap on with no problem. They always open it and run the little white cloth around it then we are on our way.MMcCarthy said:we have some issues with checked/carryon. DS & I sometimes (rarely) need a nebulizer. we usually carry it on the plane with us. with all the restrictions I am not sure if we can. a friends of mine said we would have to set it up and show the security people it works. we also will have at least four other bags to check. I figure we will be lucky to make it with 6 checked bags and then a carryon for each of us. DH is worried about the carryon with the cameras/laptops. I am much more worried about not having our medicine bag as a carryon.
Medication now needs to be in the original prescription bottles in a quart ziplock baggie. Each person's med should be in a separate baggie.lbgraves said:You should call the airline or check the government site. They changed the rule to allow some meds on the plane soon after the threat started.

Sounds like our tree, Becka! I still have a couple of ornaments from my childhood - one is a bird I made out of paper around 1956 or 1957. Our ornaments and the music are what I really love about Christmas.becka said:You would die if you saw our tree. It probably looks like something Nathan and Allie put together themselves. We don't do any theme except for memories. I try to buy ornaments each year that reflect something special and/or new from that year. Then I also buy ornaments that reflect things the kids or we are interested in so we have a weird mismesh of ornaments. None of them are perfectly spaced or coordinated.
My parents did sort of the same thing and I loved to pull out old ornaments and remember the memories that went with them. Unfortunately for my parents final military move the box with our Christmas ornaments was lost. It was a terrible loss and while my parents had many Hallmark ornaments that were actually worth some $$ that the Army could pay to replace they could not pay to replace the glittered pine cone I made in 1st grade or the ornaments we always had bought for our pets. It has really brought me some comfort to do something similiar in our family and it makes decorating the tree so much fun.
When we were decorating yesterday I just about cried a few times remembering why we bought some ornaments and I think Nathan liked hearing about the ones that involved him.My tree may not look fantastic to any one else but we love it!

Glenn Holland: Which instrument do you think you'd like to play?
Louis Russ: Well, I was kinda thinkin' like... How about electric guitar?
Glenn Holland: Well, this is a marching band. The extension cord will kill us.

Has anyone seen those in local stores? I really wanted one to be able to bring a couple of bottles of wine onto the ship. They seem to retail for around $19.00.

I feel like such a pain in the butt, but i have not found a place that could ship to canada without charging over $20 for shipping. If anyone has actually seen this items please take pity on Auntie Pj, she need a way to bring affordable wine on board.
