12/09/06 Cruise Continued ~ Pirating Bananas DIS Geekorama Part 2 Part 12

I am trying to organize all of our "stuff" for the cruise. I have taken the two Mickey Mouse bins that I have been throwing things in and have them emptied all over the bed. I am now trying to decide what to ship and what to pack and what not to take at all!!

Our house is a DIS--aster, John says since I have found the DIS what little I did do,(I think I should be insulted by that!) I now don't do at all!!

Oh well, I am waiting for the house-cleaning fairies to come, and the laundry fairies and the dish fairies.....

Hope you all slow down this weekend so I can catch up... was busy at work today... then got home, was going to take DS to the optometrist, and DH fell down the stairs, tumbling and landing on his hand... so we hopped in the car and went to emergency instead. He's got it in a fiberglass splint... will have to wait a few days to see if he tore the ligament or just sprained it. He is so bummed because he's scheduled to golf on the Magnolia (or is it the Palm) course on the 7th.... he and his friend Keith have been salivating for this opportunity to golf world-class all year....

Oh my - I hope your DH is better.Big Ouch!

Waiting for my sister - we are all going to go see Happy Feet. We were intially going to the 1:45 show -- uhm not now evidently

All tickets are sold out at our local Imax. DD isn't a fan of wearing 3D glasses and I'm not sure my little nephew is as well. Frankly I'm shocked DH wears them. Hmm - I'm going to try her cell again. I don't want to pay for tickets in advance and find out they can't make that show either.

Sounds like everyone is getting ready to go! I am starting to feel overwhelmed by T-Day & Christmas & Cruise packing! Not enough time to lurk & read posts! I did see the "Bananaman" Is he going to make a special appearance on our cruise?

One question re: Cozumel...can we take snacks off the ship inside a backpack? Happy packing everyone!

Actually we were driving back from visiting my MIL (I got major points for that one) and we started discussing the cruise. I mentioned V's comment in chat whether he knew I Dised and my reply to her that he does but not the extent of it (aren't I clever!). Since he didn't react I continued.

He's heard about you and John and Lisa. I've snuck Brandi in there. Today I mentioned Diana - actually I started with Diana living where I traveled this week (small world) and from there I slid in mention of V and Marielle (Gators and TarHeels), Brack (his wife being a non diser), Angie and Dennis, Elaine, Kristina and Andy.

Tomorrow will be Becka and Aaron. Karen will be this afternoon because we'll be with the boys and I'll mention the slumber party. No way will I ever mention pins and magnets and gatherings etc. Just casual chit chatting.
