I finally get on after the dog trainer we had come over tonight leaves, and I am AGAIN over 40 pages behind! That is 600 posts! OY!

Soooo....psyched!

Had a talk with my boss last week about finances (haven't gotten a raise since I started with the company April 2005. He said he had to talk to his partners and see what they could do...last week he threw numbers at me; one of those, "I'll believe it when I see it" things...

He sat me down today and confirmed that a raise was coming my way. I figured 1 buck an hour or so "because of finances, we can only offer..." with more to come later....but no, I got a HUGE increase, (works out to about 17%)...! Wooo HOOO!!! Effective next weeks pay!

That will pay off the last few payments on my Wildlife of Missouri series and the books are now MINE, all 1001 books in the set!! And, And! I can pay off that photographer guy who snapped those pictures, with the ..umm... ooh well...no more problems with him.

And a good way to start the pre-weekend off with!

Jaea - loves loves Rachael Ray. I looked at some kids classes at the Culinary Inst. for her but you have to be aged 8.

EVOO to you.

You know I watch her show all the time...that EVOO comment confused me...then I thought, she starts off EVERY meal with EVOO....

I'd like to learn to cook a little better. She's a good teacher and very energetic. Better than that other one (the one that needs a cheeseburger...)

It's equal parts of each (original recipe) and I add a little more Bailey's to taste...to clarify my first post....hope you like it!!

I think Andy said gargoyle - he was partially right - they are often gargoyles.

If I knew it was a mythical beast, I probably would have figured it out. I was thinking it was some mutated version of a real animal...

DW said that the clue (letter G) made Griffon come right to mind....thats makes sense....(NOT )

Jay leno just had a few bits of 911 calls that were hilarious! One woman was visiting the town and wanted to know a quiet place she could go to. The last one had a woman screaming something about a $ and a taco.

Friday! Yeah! My mom should be here tomorrow morning around 10 so we are heading to Gainesville for the last home game of the season. I am excited at the thought of being able to actually sit and watch the game.

DH and I really wish we could go to Coconuts with you guys but alas it is not to be. However, we are seriously considering a 5 night Carnival Fantasy cruise sans kids for our 10th anniversary next May. It stops in Cozumel so maybe we can go by ourselves then!

Anyone else want to join us?

there's actually very little to hit out there - well unless of course you are flying up the east river.

The funny thing was that i had a dream about flying last night. We were going to Knoebels and you and Kris were driving there with the kids and Ken and I were gonna fly....we were arguing about what airport to fly into...it was funny.

I even had my own little "headlight"...

is this a reply for my hubby? he wanted me to ask everyone about what he could do on the ship. LOL. he does look for things to climb as he walks around. well I guess he will have to make do with some swimming, maybe gym and some aerobic classes.

he gets difficult, shall we say, when he doesn't exercise. LOL. ugh.
