Okay I'm working and posting but I need to focus back on the work part. It is pouring rain here. I guess it has moved east with a vengence. Perhaps I should go to sleep now because if water comes into the basement it is going to be a fun morning.

Exactly!!! Can't stand when a sliver is left on what is basically an empty roll. grrrr. drives me nuts.

I have been so busy!!!! Yesterday I got our box ready for shipping! Woo Hoo!!! I am finally knocking things off of my to do list. I also got my Christmas recipe book finished. They are awesome! I just need the scrapbooks to put them into.

Today I am going shopping with my mom. Another day that I won't be around much.

Last night was the preschool dinner. I only had to bring pizza. Easy. Tomorrow is the GS dinner and ceremony and I am bringing a turkey and 20lbs. of mashed potatoes.

I've never cooked a turkey before....niece is coming over to assist.

OH MY! Be sure to take the back out of the turkey before you cook it.

are you shipping this? does Staples sell poster containers?

These are usually just regular paper sized printed on magnetic sheets.

I never got to post about thanksgiving dinner. I can't believe no one serves squash. I love winter squash baked in halves. or butternut squash.

I like color on the table - tgiving seems to be all brown - turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy.

Pureed beets are really pretty and colorful. Fresh cranberries, not the canned stuff, are really nice too.

Elaine, we always do squash, we do Acorn. And we will have it for meals other then Thanksgiving. It is super easy in the microwave, but we like to roast them with a little butter and brown sugar, yummy!

Thanks Angie...I am back - so far no news...but that's always good news right? Ran some tests (blood work) and since it seems to "have gone away" he is really not sure. Maybe I am nuts!!

OK, if the DIS geeks from this part of the country are off the boards later... it could be the storms. Southeastern PA, NJ, DE and northeast MD (maybe more; that's all I hear on radio here) are under a tornado watch and a flood watch until 6pm. Winds are starting to whip here.

We had horrible horrible weather last night! I swear I thought we would blow away! We always get lots of winds (due to the location of our house) but last night it was horrible! So many people had flooding. The wind was driving the pouring rain so hard it was coming in under my UPSTAIRS back door!!!!! That has never happened before.

Today it is all gone and sunny!

Our door signs are not poster size. 8 1/2 X 11 sheets of magnetic paper. Just stick them in the side pocket of our suitcase.

Even cheaper than magnetic paper is to get on of those new frames. It's like a piece of flexible magnet (8x11) that has a plastic sheet on the front. The top is open so you can slide photos inside.

I got mine at A.C. Moore but i bet Michaels has them too. Only maybe $5. Then i can just printout several signs on regular paper and change them daily.
