DH got a call and e-mail from a recruiter about an analytical chemist postition here in Columbia. We don't yet know who the employer is but it might be a lead. Also the job descriptions we found look like there are for entry level chemists and DH has too many years experience to be entry-level. We will just have to wait and see. It would be nice if this was a local job that paid better than his current job.

Tell him to put his resume out there. Maybe someone will bite, in say, FLORIDA!!

Well the show was this AM....my DS fit right in just fine. The teacher wrote the play and one kid was a lion (mine), one a tiger and one a bear. All three had on animal costumes. They looked awesome and I'm very proud of all those kids. The place was PACKED!!!! I can't imagine a 3rd grader walking out for the first time seeing their friends and all those adults - parents, grandparents, etc. I hope the teacher warned them.

On the funny side...one scene had a Juke Box...I heard the kindergarteners ask what it was and what it did....the teacher explained it was what they used back in the 1950s (setting for the show) ....she said it was "like an IPOD only much bigger"

I am glad the play was a success! I am sure your lion costume looked great. I know who to call if I ever find myself needing an animal costume for DS!

The way our post office keeps messing up our deliveries someone three blocks away will probably get our docs and try to show up as us for the cruise. You will know they are fakes though, right? I bet they have no idea how to impersonate a DISer!

Becka that is too funny that you say that - we always get mail mixed up. Just today we got a package for someone on a completely differnt street....so I wondered if our Disney stuff was elsewhere. But I know ours is probably at the TA right now.

I'm going to have to take a guess and suspect I'll be the last to get our docs, so I'm trying not to get too excited. We are still having problems with our TA... she is no longer with the company (AAA) and when we call the office they say they're not sure who is handling our file, I bet it isn't even assigned and when our docs come in they're probably going to sit around not knowing what to do about getting them to us.

Dody, is it close by? I would go down there and demand that someone be assigned to it so that you have a contact!

Caroline - to answer your question here... just in case you don't get the correct answers on teh main boards...

if you are not using the room in any way shape or form...even for storage...I would advise that room steward and I would not tip. Some people may disagree....but how is it different if no one ever reserved it?
