Ok, a question for the women... do underwire bras set off the metal detectors? :confused3 I don't recall it ever being a problem for me in the past and that's the kind I wear but I just read this on the TSA site...

Avoid wearing clothing, jewelry or other accessories that contain metal when traveling through the security checkpoints:

Heavy jewelry (including pins, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, earrings, body piercings, cuff links, lanyards or bolo ties)
Clothing with metal buttons, snaps or studs
Metal hair barrettes or other hair decoration
Belt buckles
Under-wire bras

:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

I'm sorry. :rotfl: this just struck me as so funny! :rotfl2: But if they have them listed. :confused3

We will have to develop code questions to verify that there are no imposters among our group! :rotfl:

Whose husband has no idea she leads a secret Internet double life? (Multiple answers will be accepted).
Who goes out to help the homeless each night while the rest of us sleep?
What dish inspired the great crust vs. no crust debate?
Who peed all over Becka's bathtub?
Who is the original 10,000 post pirate:?
Who made fluff explode? Bonus Points if you can also identify the dwarf underwear this person once wore.
Name (real and screen names required) 3 sets of twins.
Who is our fearless leader?
Which husband excused his wife from high school math classes?
Who is the DIS Dog?
What is the 12/9 cruise groups favorite fruit?
.....

if you get 7 correct, does that count? otherwise I might fail. I keep reminding myself that the cruise is actually right around the corner. DH & I keep saying three weeks from now, we will be ?????? the kids are finally starting to get it, I get calls from them & they say the same thing. I just have to survive the next 2 weeks at work.

Have a Blessed Turkey day everyone.

I just tried to access my Ebay account and apparently it was compromised. I was just on chat with an ebay agent. Someone listed stuff under my user name. :furious: :furious: That makes me crazy angry!!!!! Now I am in the process of changing all of my passwords!

That sounds like a total pain!! I hope you get everything straightened out. :grouphug:

Here's another autograph possibility: at Staples/Office Max/etc, they sell spiral-bound large (4x6) index cards (they're perforated, so you can take them out of the spiral cleanly). Use the spiral book for autographs, then you can use the cards individually in a photo album/scrapbook.

Great idea! :thumbsup2

Ok, Becka....what is the percentage of posts in this thread that have the word "crust" in it? "Pricing"? "streaking"? "bathroom bat"?

We need statistics! :thumbsup2

ahhh... I hang my clothes in the closet, yes in the closet. On the red hangers, only sweaters on the red hangers. The shirts go on the blue hangers, yes, blue but only on Tuesdays, definitely not on Mondays. I hang the pants on green hangers but only on Thursdays, not on Mondays, only sweaters on red hangers on Mondays...I'm an excellent organizer....hey, look a chicken! :lmao:

I too, am like Amy....if the clothes get in the closet it's a miracle. Actually they get in there 3 times a year....when we are throwing a party.

Underwire bras set off metal detectors? WHAT? Isn't there a metal detector you walk through at the port? Never had a problem. And I sure hope there is no hold up this year. What do they do for that?

John wants to go to Disney on Friday...he thinks everyone will be shopping....and the park will be empty. Not so sure about that.

I will be on a cooking marathon tonight. I plan on getting everything ready and prepared to just pop in the oven tomorrow. Yippee!!! We are really getting close to cruise time!!

But would you ever pass up a day at WDW?!?! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Check with TSA on makeup. They said lotions, toothpaste, shampoos etc, but only in 3 oz or less and in a clear quart ziplock bag.

...still catching up....

so what does a ziploc bag do for security? I mean, my lotion is no safer in a ziploc bag than outside the bag. I thought they put the ban on large liquids b/c of the fear that flamable or combustible liquids would be transported.

Pecan pies should be cool now, better wrap them up and get to bed. Lots of work to do tomorrow. More pies to back, fruit salad to make, jello salad to make, potatoes and yams to peal and I still need to clean the livingroom. So, goodnight. I may not be around much the next couple of days either. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving all and to those traveling, drive safely.

Angie - you are my hero...always finding time to cook such yummy food!!!

Avoid wearing clothing, jewelry or other accessories that contain metal when traveling through the security checkpoints:

Heavy jewelry (including pins, necklaces, bracelets, rings, watches, earrings, body piercings, cuff links, lanyards or bolo ties)
Clothing with metal buttons, snaps or studs
Metal hair barrettes or other hair decoration
Belt buckles
Under-wire bras
Hidden items such as body piercings may result in your being directed to additional screening for a pat-down inspection. If selected for additional screening, you may ask to remove your body piercing in private as an alternative to the pat-down search.
Take metal items such as keys, loose change, mobile phones, pagers, and personal data assistants (PDAs) out of your pockets.
Place heavy jewelry and other metal items in your carry-on baggage or in plastic bags if they are offered, until you clear security.
Pack all your coats and jackets in your baggage when possible. All coats and jackets must go through the X-ray machine for inspection. These include, but are not limited to, trench coats, heavy winter coats, suit jackets, sport coats and blazers. If you choose to wear an outer coat or jacket to the checkpoint, you will need to either place it in your carry-on or put it in the bin that is provided for you.

At some airports they certainly do! I always wear them and one time this lady told me should would have to pat me down.....I was apparently not in a good mood, b/c when she was done, I remember asking her if she enjoyed it. Yikes! I remember doing it and I cringe thinking about what must have gotten me sooooo mad to do that. :sad2:

OMG Caroline!!! When did you add that little line under your signature? :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

You and Carla have got to stop doing that! I am not used to seeing people's signatures change so frequently and it takes me forever to notice. :teeth:

Because she's been tracking it since the beginning....Personally, I am waiting until we hit 12%; that would be the milestone. Not sure why, but I guess its as arbitrary as 10%.

Becka, go over to the OTHER thread and let them know we are at 10%, see what they say.... :rolleyes1

Oh Andy - what does Kristina do to control you?!!!!!

:lmao: Trouble!!! You are most definitely trouble!!!!

One question for you Caroline...who is this genius you speak of? If you are thinking it is me you should have your head checked because you should know enough about me by now to realize that I am on the other end of the smart spectrum! ;)
