Thank goodness! When we remodeled we moved the washer /dryer from the basement to the first floor. Now you only have to come down one flight searching....

With the addition, the laundry room will be upstairs! !

Don't V...I figured that was the case with some & school/work gets many tied up & off the boards. That was why I sent out the email & pmd a couple who I didn't hear from .

I dug the silly metal base that came with the tree out of a box in the garage. We put the trunk in the tube in the middle of the base and VOILA!!! The tree stood straight up!!! The tree was reassembled.

I was waiting to hear you had to get a new tree or something! Glad it worked out.

I joined up in late August and I know that I have seen ChiFivO post a few times and maybe Virginiamama once. I don't think I have ever seen Disneed post.

Tana was posting pretty regularly except for the last 2 weeks. I think she sais that Charlotte had been in contact with her. She is in late seating near us I know.

Did Slindamood cancel?

Here's my very first post on this thread, from this is your posting life . . . Post #218 on 7/11/05 . . . page 15 of the thread . . . when I was just John, not John1 . . .

Well, we were on vacation at the OBX of NC last week and met up with Lisa and her family and she twisted our arms - so here we are . . . We got the very last group room from DU, and now are cruising on 12/10/05 AND 12/9/06! Hard to believe as this is absolutely the FIRST time I have had us booked for two cruises at the same time!

Mrs. Mork, looks like we will be seeing you and your troop twice too!

DD Sophia (who will be 6 going on 7 at the time of this cruise and will be in first grade - also hard for me to believe)

We had TVs with dials. No remotes back then. We didn't even have cable until I was in my teens.

Oh my dad had a remote control. It was called KIDS!

OH NO WAY!!!! I got this tree three years ago after Christmas from Sears. Delivered to the house it was maybe $40. Prelit and the thickest branch count they had!

She has not emailed me that they had to cancel. I imagine that life has been extremely hectic for her however since the elections if they are trying to not cancel all vacations.

I just saw this part of your post. I remember hearing how terrible those were growing up then one Christmas my mother got one for a gift. Suddenly they were feeding us lots of this terribly unsafe food.

We had cable, needed it here. No VCR or microwave until late teens and we bought them for our parents. Dishwasher was me. No HBO or Showtime in our house. Or Atari or Nintendo. Heck, we didn't have air conditioning! Had to go to my sister's house for all of these things.

Not sure if this is true or not but Conan is saying that Fox has cancelled the OJ interview broadcast because it is not up their standard of journalism. I really hope that this is correct!

They have even cancelled the publishing of the book!!!! I heard Barbara Walters say that she was offered the interview before & turned it down quickly.
