I also enjoyed Emmitt. I haven't seen the show all season and have heard everything about Mario. Definitely he has natural talent (Mario) but I really did not like their freestyle. I wanted them to dance together at least once. It was more like club dancing.

That's what I thought again tonight watching them do the freestyle again. There was only one point in the middle of the dance where they even held each other's hand & interacted with each other.

I had a pretty busy day today, or at least busier than usual. Was at DD's school from 4 - 7 to help pass out findraiser stuff that came in. I left a little early so I don't know exactly what they did with the stuff not picked up. It was perishable. I had to arrange a few things because of this and I wan't really needed. Too many cooks in the kitchen...

Wait, I need to break this up...

Is anyone decorating their stateroom for Christmas?


Been debating whether or not to bring a few things. The 2004 Christmas cruise....I brought a string of Disney-themed Christmas lights, etc......but it was actually over Christmas Day. Not sure I should drag it along this time. What do you think??

We will decorate our room. I have a small tree and some Mickey string lights. We'll also put these up at our room at Pop Century the next week.

it was weird - I'm a grown woman, a mom even - but I was so nervous, felt like I was going to the principal's office for the kids conferences last week!!


Don't stress!!! A lot of parents get nervous for conferences. Teachers are generally anxious too!!!!

...at 7. They had a state trooper there who told us all about the dangers of the internet with our kids. It was pretty informative. The student council was there and gave us a rundown of what they have been doing, etc. About 15 people showed up. It's called a Citizens Advisory and it is a time to talk with the principal about issues and such while also providing information, such as tonight, about different things. Always the same people.. .

Isn't that the truth! I asked the kids if they minded me going to the meeting tomorrow night. They both said yes so I told them that I would stay home. Kathryn told me today that she was hoping that I would be there so that she could thank me for everything that I did for the carnival & fundraiser. IDK.

I got one of the little trees from Target for $2.50... (Luv that Dollar spot; except now some things are $2.50)

They also had lots of cute stuff to go with it....

I got a battery powered light set, mini glass ball set (they were marked wrong so i got them for a $1.00), and a really cute velour LIME GREEN tree skirt.

I just don't understand why it seems that across the board it is so hard to get volunteers at schools. I understand lots of people work......... but still in our school, even the weekend/ night time events are hard to get volunteers. And the teachers always have stuff to take home.

I find it so rewarding, and love the chance to peek in on DH's class, or see what's happening in the office, or hang out in the staff room.

I don't know why anyone wouldn't want to be heavily involved.........

Good Morning!

You guys were busy last night. Must have been working hard to get that #1 ranking.

Sorry I missed the party but unfortunately Nathan is still running a fever this morning so I had to stay home with him. Normally this would be a stressful thing for me but right now I am so thankful to have a little break from work. I will still need to work some from home but to at least be away from my office for a little while feels great. Plus I can DIS a lot today!!!! Since I missed 52K anyone up for 53K?

Sorry to hear about Nathan but haven't you earned some time off after the wild hours you have been having to work on that payroll mess?

I realized last night I am taking way to many clothes for the girls, but you know what, I really don't care. Who knows how often they will need a change....dripping Mickey bars, etc

BTW, both kids have Mickey Bars every single night. They don't know about room service though. I would rather keep that for the dining room. It wont be as effective of a bribe if they figure out they are available any time.
