well as much as I would love to hang and chat...I have to do some work or else I may find myself without a job!

I realized last night I am taking way to many clothes for the girls, but you know what, I really don't care. Who knows how often they will need a change....dripping Mickey bars, etc

And Becka - do your kids have Mickey bars at dinner (dessert)?
Just curious....

They didn't on the last cruise because DS always wanted his "pink ice cream". This year he says he wants Mickey bars and I am sure DD will want them too if they are available. It will be such a mess which is one reason while I will have to do at least one load of laundry mid-week.

Well I am caught up and I probably should try to get some stuff done. For some reason my allergies or something just flared up and I think I must have used half a box of Kleenex. I might be getting the cold Allie has had. Hopefully this will be our illness before the trip and we will be healthy for the cruise. :)

I'll make sure to pick up some disposable bibs....!!

Will your kids wear them? DS wouldn't dream of it because that is for babies and DD rips all bibs off immediately. She hates them and has not let us put one on her for more than 30 seconds in probably 9-10 months. :sad2: We have a lot of stained clothes because of that.

Haley hasn't worn a bib since she was very young, both kids were never really into them.
Wipes, then, definitely lots of wipes.

I doubt it, but I can hope...those suckers are MESSY!

::yes::

I figure DS may occassionally want something else and I might be able to convince DD to have something else as well. What are the typical kids desserts? I am sure most of them will cause a huge mess. DD's favorite dessert is cake.

I will probably bring along the bibs and just hope she will be too distracted to care. :)

I was looking at the menus yesterday - how about:

carmelized apple cheesecake on an oreo cookie crust
chocolate mint ice cream sundae (DH will LOVE this)
the Lost banana treasure (I don't want to know!)
amaretto cheesecake

I think instead of an appertizer I am going to start off with cheesecake!

I am not sure...I too was hoping the, "well if you really want the Mickey bar then you have to wear the bib" thing would work. Haley's pretty on to me though.

I figured once they all saw they Mickey bars they would all probably want one.

Are you a cheescake girl? I really like cheesecake as well but I like it pretty plain with maybe a little chocolate or strawberry. I can be a tad picky that way.

I just looked at the kids menus and it does not look like they have just a simple cake or cupcake for the kids dessert. I know they have room service cake of the day. I wonder if some evenings I might be able to get that for her. She would probably like that more than the Mickey bars.

Congratulations Marielle!

I knew this was on the horizon last night but I was dragging so we went to bed early for a change. I do expect to be trolling for the next one though ...... aaaargh! Take What You Can!

this is making me hungry......oysters rockefeller, crab cakes, bacon wrapped filet. Yum!
And the Palo brunch....can't wait, neither can DH, it's all he's talking about.

Yeah, Allie is on to me as well. ;) They sure do get smart about that kind of stuff way too early. If DD has another dessert she really may not care about the Mickey bar. She will eat ice cream but it is not her favorite. It is hard to tell what she will think but if she wants a Mickey bar she can have one and I can hose her off later. :rotfl:

I used to only like plain, plain cheesecake with nothing. My first daring cheesecake adventure was the white choc raspberry swirl from Olive Garden...yum....that opened up a whole new cheesecake tasting world for me!

so wonder who will be the first and last to get their docs this year. I vote me for last. Or maybe the new guy - he's in FL too.
