WAHHHHH!!!!! ANGIE!!!!!!!!! I wish that I could have you watch Disney movies with DD while I sleep. I was up all night with her. I woke up to her coughing one time and I was sitting next to her bed with my head on the mattress. DH got up around 1:30 & went downstairs. I can't take another night like this. I am taking her to the doctor's after dropping DS off at school. They don't open until 8:30 but we will be there to be the first "fit in" appointment of the day. I am praying that it isn't pneumonia again.

Come on over. DS is home today- looks like he has strep throat. He has a doctor appointment at 1pm today.

Poor thing gets strep about twice a year, usually gets it early december, kind of glad it came early this year.

I say we're trying to defeat all of the germs now so that by cruise day, all is well.

That's my theory... get all the sickness done and over with now so everyone is healthy and has strong immunity when we sail.

Yes,, for those who have lost loved ones; You have my deepest understanding and sympathy. My Dad also passed away from Cancer. It was a long and painful journey for him. I held his hand as he passed on. My Mom died a year later, of a broken heart. ('96 &'97) We haved lost 10 loved ones, aunts, uncles, GPs, in the last 4 years. And Angie's Dad passed on in July of this year.

It has only been just over a year since we lost my FIL... I can't imagine what those of you who have multiple heartaches must go through.

I think it is sad that they aren't closed that day. If you forgot to get something well tough s***. It really does annoy me when the minimum wage people have to work on major holidays. The video rental store in our area is open on Chistmas...give me a break!!! When I go into a store and I see that they are closed on a major holiday I always tell them "Thank you for giving your employees off." The only people who should have to work are police men and doctors and nurses ( for obvious reasons.)

Okay...off of my soapbox.

Many of the stores here WOULD close on the holidays. They give their employees the choice and many opt for the extra pay. We are closed eventhough none of DH's employees celebrate these holidays.

Will your kids wear them? DS wouldn't dream of it because that is for babies and DD rips all bibs off immediately. She hates them and has not let us put one on her for more than 30 seconds in probably 9-10 months. We have a lot of stained clothes because of that.

Well you can be sure that Brandi won't be borrowing any clothes from you!

I have been looking at the Black Friday ads and so far I am not too impressed. I might check out Kohls but I am not sure it will be worth the hassle.

The past two days when I pick up Samantha there is this little boy wanting desperately to give her a hug. He is new this year and really is quite mean. He is always in some sort of time out but he can be very sweet as well. Both days he just looked so dejected I said how about I give you a hug....he beamed and just almost squeezed me to death then turned and ran off into the playground. I had a talk with Samantha about feelings and how would she feel if someone didn't want to hug her. Hopefully today if he asks for one she will remember our talk.

That is sad... I wonder if he is missing some sort of comfort/empathy at home that causes him to reach out and seek from others like that. The fact that he is "mean" too...

I think something is up. I am not sure if he isn't used to daycare or what. I've seen him, hit and kick and yet be so loving. The teachers aren't allowed to say anything about the children...which is a good thing. I would hate my child to be labeled to the other parents by the teachers in that respect.

I can't help but love him, mean or not. He's the cutest thing, always speaks to both Haley and I and really I think needs some attention.
