Now see, that is one of the reasons I don't like a real tree. In my experience, so many things fall off because the branches aren't sturdy enough. The fallinf pine needles are the biggest reason though. Or is it having to go out and get one?

I never ever thought we would give up our real tree, but I LOVE not having the mess.

I was just trying to get my twin riled up!

When I was a kid we would butcher. It was such a pain. I hated it! We did 2 pigs every year. We would raise them and then...you know. I lived on a vege farm...but when my grandparents were young they also had animals. When I was a kid we had what we would butcher plus some goats and chickens.

If you have two hours of flounders then you still should have time enough to chase a cow or two if you are inclined to do so.

The top one is me and Sarah. She is 13 days old and 1 lb 12 oz. It was the first time I got tho hold her.

The next is the same day. She was finally off the resperator, but it was put back in a few other times.

The last one is a day or two after she got home and she is 10 wks old and a whopping 4lbs 12 oz!

She is such a tiny little peanut. I can't imagine her being 13 days old when you finally got to hold her!

I know having Eliza under the lights for jaundice was killing me. For 3 days I only got to hold her to feed her. I was always crying and she was a big healthy baby. Delayed hug for what you must have gone through!

Dina was kinda horse and coughing yesterday and her adnoids are swollen again, but she sounds much better now.

There was my innocence...I can't see a pic like that of a man (other than my DH!!!!) I am too innocent!!! It would scar me on a fundamental level!!!!
