She is such a tiny little peanut. I can't imagine her being 13 days old when you finally got to hold her!

I know having Eliza under the lights for jaundice was killing me. For 3 days I only got to hold her to feed her. I was always crying and she was a big healthy baby. :grouphug: Delayed hug for what you must have gone through!

I got to feed her her first bottle when she was 2 months old! Luckily I had called the hospital to check up on her and the nurse said she would be getting it. It wasn't one of the regular nurses and I was like, ummm, can you please wait til I get there so I can give it to her???

When DH and I got married. I told him that when we were in the front of the church saying our vows I was going to mentally tell him "and to always have a very large Christmas tree" as part of my vows. He would also have to mentally tell me the same thing. When we got to the back of the church he whispered in to my ear "to always have a very large Christmas tree." I could have cried...he is always so sweet like that! I can guarantee we will have a huge REAL tree every single year!!! It just wouldn't feel right any other way!

His Grandmother is 88 and his Grandfather is 87. Every year we put up a huge real tree for them (we also take it down.) You can't even imagine how happy it makes her. I always say that I hope our grandkids love and respect us half as much as he does his (and I do mine.)

My DH does EVERYTHING imaginable for his grandparents. Again...he is so sweet! His mem (grandmother) invents all kinds of things for him to do...just so he will visit with the kids. Every Thursday night he goes over there. He and the 2 kids. I don't always go. But it sure makes her happy!
AAAWWW! He is a sweetie, a keeper!

Angie - did you see the christmas clothing in the Disney store?

I liked thier Christmas Pajamas. I already had some from disney Direct. They are very low quality. I was disappointed with them.

I would have been very angry if they fed it to her and I had missed it. That is crazy! At least you got to give it to her!

Oh how I wish we had a Disney store closer than the mall... To let you know how bad it is here, we don't even have a Walmart!! One has been built, but they haven't been able to open it and it was done in the spring. No hopes for a Target any time soon. :sad2:

The closest Walmart to me is 20 min away. The mall I went to today is 30 min away. That is the price I pay to live in the country!

I work about 25 - 30 min away. I pass the Walmart. That is nice when I am working and need something. Right now it is a total pain in the butt...we have nothing close to us...nothing at all!

The day I got to hold her was my best friend's wedding. Needless to say, I ended up missing the ceremony.

20 minutes would be heaven! Our mall is 45 to an hour depending on how fast you go! Only thing here is K-mart.

The one I am most worried about carrying on is my DS. He HATES to have his pic taken. I have been telling him that he will get many pics taken in Disney. He must smile and be nice or else he won't get to ride on Dumbo. I will give my kids the world...but darn it you better not carry on when I want a pic! ;)

I don't like K-mart...well I don't like our K-mart! It is in the Frackville mall. It is so small!!! You can't fit the cart through at all! It is "old" and has a dim apperance.

Luckily she was in Atlantic City so it was right about an hour away. (yes, the mall is near Atlantic City!) I went pretty much everyday, except if there was a lot of snow. The doctors and nurses were great. I could call anytime, day or night. They really kept my mind at ease. She was in a level 3 neonatal unit. She almost had to go to a level 2 or 1 a time or two, but she always pulled through before that happened. Then I would have had to go to Camden or Philly.

I think I am going to get to bed. I hope my head doesn't fall off. Maybe it will be better in the morning!

Night girls!

Sorry I have to miss the big one. I am so tired.
