.....DS & I had a good talk tonight about daddy's job. I explained that he goes away so much because he is good at his job & people value his input. We are also lucky enough that his job allows me to stay home with them instead of the alternative. I think that DS's eyes were opened a bit tonight. I am trying to get him to redirect his anger from his daddy to the fact that he is away for his job....

We both have address books, computer address book, kids school lists with addresses. It takes me hours to get all the cards done.

It takes me forever to do ours. We send out a bunch each year.

If only the late arrivals who have late seating linked up...

I'm not really considering taking them off the list because they are linked for dining and they have popped in now & then.

That got pushed to today and unfortunantly it has been postponed once again. I figure if the world leaders haven't solved it in several years, I can have a few weeks.

Next week I may need to travel to a clients. This client is uhm challenging.

our holoiday card situation is a disaster and every year we say we will consolidate lists but we never get to it. We also need to update addresses.

If someone doesn't send us a card for 2 years they get marked off our list. It is much smaller now than after we got married.

Lisa - I was actually relieved at who was shot. I am just wondering - do you think they'll die? I loved Lynnette's response of "I didn't want the first four".....I think Carlos and Gabby will get back together.

She was dead. No question about that. I know they said that something would shock us.

....Get the 80gb HD - If you are even THINKING about loading Windows, you will need it. I have a 120gb HD in my Macbook, and I am almost out of room - with a 15gb partition for Windows.

I just realized I only have to work NINE MORE DAYS after today before we leave for WDW. I am off Thurs and Fri of this week for Veterans Day (Friday is the official holiday, but that is my regular day off so I get Thurs "in leiu" of) so one more day this week. Then I work my regular 4 days next week, then am on vacation the whole week of Thanksgiving as the hordes are visiting as usual, then back to work for another 4 days the week after TG. Nine work days!!!

It's getting so close now!

Does anyone need a pair of Mens Pirate boots in a size 12-13 for pirate night?

The company i ordered from apparently had the wrong sizes listed for s/m/l in their description when i ordered them and doesn't do exchanges on internet orders.

They are pretty nice...just a little (ok a lot) big for my DH..(They were supposed to only be an 11-12 but the bag clearly states they are a 12-13)

I paid $30 for them...

Sorry they are way too big for me also.

I have used a Mac and have actually set a new one up for someone that bought it. They just seem so foreign to me.

The new deal with it being able to run a Windows environment is an attempt to attract "old" PC users like me. Why buy something that imitates something? Buy the thing it is imitating!

I hear people tell me the Macs do graphics and music better. Maybe that is so but I have never had a problem with my PC's in this area. I have owned a PC since the old 8088 days (let's see who remembers that?) and will probably keep on as a PC addict.
