Johnny Depp ======== yummmmmy! I need to see if they have 21 Jump Street on DVD....that is where I fell into crush.

My mom called to tell me something happened to Vin Deisel. Well actually the VAN WEZEL (the purple cow theatre here in Sarasota) director quit/got fired. I am not sure if she knows Eminem and M&M's are two different things.

Yep, all the seasons have been released on DVD. I had to buy them because I loved Johnny on that show also. But I have to admit I developed a crush on him even before 21 Jumpstreet. My friends and I watched Nightmare on Elm Street at a slumber party when I was 13 or 14 and we all thought he was so cute!! What's really weird though is that DD12's friends love Johnny Depp now.

Then cleaning DD's room - I feel terrible - all of that dust. I was dying cleaning it up - I wasn't really thinking - we've turned the heat on so forced hot air brings more dust - gag. If I don't wear a mask I am hurting all day.

KWYM Carla..... Dust is not my friend either so i usually just leave it alone....

Today we were cleaning behind the wachine machine lint/dirt/dust central...

Apple question Carla.... Re trade-ins.... How much do you think they would give me to trade in my dd's shuffle for the new one?

You know, I wasn't allowed to watch that, nor In Living Color, but somehow I never missed one. And I wanted to be a Fly Girl. I think in my junior year - when I was actually dubbed choreographer....most all of my moves came from JJackson, the Fly Girls, Steve Winwood's Roll With It, etc. I was also NOT ALLOWED TO WATCH MTV. Can ya'll imagine what V would have been like with MTV?

HMMM.

I was however allowed to watch FAME....the show. I LOVED IT. My BF ANNA and I would sit on the phone each day during the summer when both of us were supposed to be babysitting our sibs (Sorry DQ Amber)and we would gab and dance and gab....and dream, and then lucky for us, we got a PERFORMING ARTS HIGH SCHOOL in 9th grade!! How lucky is that? We became THESPIANS!

Anna went to FSU.....she now lives in Tampa...not dancing. Our other great friend went with the Cinncinati Ballet....was great but had eating issues and is now finishing a math degree at UF....all of our "other" friends are trying to make it in NY....aside from a few who are now teaching at New World in Miami....I was the only SELL OUT!

Ok enough ~!

OMG I so agree. I remember the dry milk phase. My mother mixed it partially with "real" milk(what 2 drops?!) and swore it tasted the same. GAG!

Well, my sister was allergic to real milk so at least there was a reason but then they wondered why I didn't drink milk? YUCK!!! I used it thru college then stopped eating cereal in the morning for a while. It was so gross when I tried it months later that I just stopped using it all together.

The kids were an absolute nightmare so they ate some cereal about 5:30 and went to bed right after. I was in the middle of dinner but they just could not wait so after they went to bed DH and I had chipotle marinated chicken cooked outside on the grill, skillet potatoes and a big salad for dinner. It was really, really good and it was nice to eat without kids clammoring all over.

After dinner I worked out and now I am waiting for Amazing Race to start. Football ran way late so it won't be on for another 30-40 minutes. After that I will watch DH (or DHW for those of you who are acronym impaired... ).

DD is working on cleaning her room. You'd think it was a fate worse than death (of course when I was a kid I felt the same way and my mother would eventually become exasperated with me and clean it for me)

I broke the little toe on my right foot tripping over the kids toy lawn mower. It really hurts....

This week will be a food challenge. I have to bake goodies for DS's class tomorrow night and then I also have to make something for our departments annual holiday "pay" goodie day. Most everyone (in a department of 100+) bring something in (usually 6-7 big tables FULL of stuff) and we all pay $3 a plate. The money we raise is donated to charity. There is so much great food and one plate is probably an entire week's worth of WW points.

As if that was not bad enough I also have a chili cook off on Wednesday for a Make A Wish fundraiser.

So much really good food....the temptation is going to kill me....
