There are almost no pictures of me with the kids as newborns ... then again, there are almost no pictures of me since I'm the camera geek!

LOL! Ditto. The last time I recall pictures of the two of us together were during my baby shower holding up an ultrsound photo.

Have you seen my kids? Wouldn't you do anything to see smiles on those little faces?

Those little faces make me smile! Everyone's kid pictures are so cute I am getting a spoilin' urge everytime I DIS. Sheesh!

My mom and I just booked our Room for the Creating Keepsakes Scrapbooking Convention that is held in Valley Forge PA. We went last year and it was awesome!!! We didn't go this past summer because of me not working and having a lack of $$$$. It isn't until July...but we are all booked and ready!!!! If you are a scrapbooker in the area it was the best scrapbooking weekend ever!

how exciting Brandi!!! My Mom and I went to CKU in Chicago last year and it was pretty fun. Have you been to Scrapbook Escape in AZ by any chance? I am thinking of saving up for that, it sounds heavenly.

Nothing like that feeling of being caught up on the Dis....being all warm and toasty inside from drinking a cup of Earl Grey tea....and the quiet setting of an empty house.

Earl Grey tea? Did someone say Earl Grey?! (my fav) all caught up and warm and toasty, empty house. Wow!

I've got one - I think yours is the best by the way but this would be my second perfect feeling today. How about being dropped off at the store that I love (The Paper Store) and DD didn't want to come with me but stayed with her Dad while he went food shopping! He didn't mind and neither did she (food shopping is up there with laundry for me). It gets better.. I stopped into my fav Starbucks location which is one store away from the other store to see a sign on the window that said they will be closing at 7P in prep for the holiday and I walked up to the counter and said "Is Egg Nog coming" and she said "It has arrived would you like one?!" OH YEAH! Walked out Egg Nog Chai in hand.

Now I need to run to Target (staples for the week), ToysRUS (returning the pink Gameboy Advance) and Barnes and Noble. I would go to the location that doesn't have an Apple Store but they all do. Burlington doesn't have a ToysRUs in the vicinity but Peabody does. So it'll be Peabody because it will involve getting out of the car twice for Toys R Us and B&N and there won't be any parking at the mall. That in itself is a deterent to going to the Apple Store in there.

DD is working on cleaning her room. You'd think it was a fate worse than death (of course when I was a kid I felt the same way and my mother would eventually become exasperated with me and clean it for me)

Anyway DD just said "How about if we worked in ****s?" I said shif ts, there is an f in there - S-H-I-F-T-S,okay?

I am Howling! ROTFLOLPMP! If you're going to work in ****'s be sure to wear the right T-****.

Hooray!!! I have finally caught up! That took sooo long!! I have one of those confession things. Because I can see movies on demand at home and I see a lot in hotels and on planes, we have not rented a movie in at least 6 years. I always buy the kid movies, or if it was one I really liked or wanted to see I bought it. (i have a problem with late fees) Anyway, tonight we went to rent a movie we could all see, just for fun and DD was totally confused. She had all these questions about how long we could keep them and what happened if we did not get them back on time. She had no idea a place like this really existed. I am such a bad parent. People were laughing at us in line. We just don't watch a lot of movies that aren't on t.v.

Us too Kim, us too . . .

If it is a movie Sophia wants, we usually buy. Same for me, and Amy does not really like movies. DS Alex rents movies, but I don't think he counts. We also have that problem with late fees, and the local library really likes us because of that, we are always late, and we always pay.

That is why I don't want a laptop, I don't like the keyboard or the mouse "look-a-like."

No problem with my Macbook. The keyboard is actually very comfortable, and the trackpad is great. You can even use two fingers to scroll which is real nice.

Ok - I can now leave guilt free. DD in shower, hair washed. I get to go to CVS first to spend an obscene amount of bucks on our refills. I was dying today without my eye drops and zyrtec, I should know better. My neighbor daughter is the pharmacist and she has called me in the past Then cleaning DD's room - I feel terrible - all of that dust. I was dying cleaning it up - I wasn't really thinking - we've turned the heat on so forced hot air brings more dust - gag. If I don't wear a mask I am hurting all day. I hadn't taken my Astelin either - yeah that would have been helpful before I was breathing in probable dust mites which I am highly allergic to...

Yes - that will teach me to try to workout and be healthy. I am doing pretty good so far with the challenge (is that still going?). I have lost 10 pounds officially at WW with another weigh in tomorrow. However from when I started the challenge I have lost 16 pounds as of yesterday. DH is also down about 8 pounds.

I still have a LONG way to go but slowly but surely I am really getting into a groove with WW again. I just hope the cruise does not set me back too far.

No one has been updating me, and I am officially "off the wagon" . . . the challenge has seemed to fizzle, but if anyone wants to update, I will be glad to post results.

I wish my daughter loved to brush her teeth as much as she loves to take a shower. She would be in there all day if we let her. Brushing her teeth is a kin to torture. We explained if she doesn't brush her teeth she'd better get used to being in her current state of missing two front teeth and having a speech impediment as that is what will happen to her when she is older permanently.

UPDATE: I gained 5 pounds. and a arrrrrr! I better start paying attention!
