You can't get cable?

I could but my aunt and neighbor both have it and said that Blue Mountain cable internet isn't very good. My aunt actually went back to dial-up. She already had 2 phone lines. She said that the cable wasn't any better and that it was down all of the time (I don't know why). She went back to dial-up because it is cheaper. My neighbor also switched back. They said our cable company wasn't very good. I never switched. I am still waiting for DSL!

i took a dead mouse we caught in a trap to show n tell once. (It was in a coffee can).. They boys loved it..The girls thought it was gross.

You just gave me shivers...bad bad bad shivers. The only mice I like are huge and dressed....from DISNEY!

Good TV tonight! GA was very telling of eveyone. I liked it.

I agree with others that said the pre-school teachers are not the ones to diagnose a speech issue - they can point out a concern which you may decide to investigate. Go with your instincts as Lisa mentioned.

thanks. I actually got her full report and everything was tops the only thing noted on there was how many words she says. The issue isn't her speech as unable to understand but how many words she actually uses during the day. I called her ped just to ease my mind and he is overly fine with her. I know the preschool teachers spend more time with her, but I fully trust the girls dr and he has always said not to rush anything and he will let me know when and if he has a concern.So I feel a bit better, and actually most of the other kids in her class don't say much either

I am glad it's Friday. Not sure if I'll be around for chat. I am beat this week and I would like to start getting the house in order for Thanksgiving.

I was just wondering how other schools grade. Our High School and Jr HS use this:

A+ = 98 - 100
A = 96 - 97
A- = 93 - 95

B+ = 90 - 92
B = 88 - 89
B- = 85 - 87

C+ = 82 - 84
C = 80 - 81
C- = 76 - 79

D+ = 74 - 75
D = 72 - 73
D- = 70-71

We always had the A = 93-100 etc, but I just don't get the +s and -s.

The school my children will attend grade this way. The school where I teach has lower standards! A 90% is still an A, 80% low B, 70% C, 60% D, lower than 60 is Failing!!!! My kids will fail at 69% (they better never get that low!!!) and the kids I teach don't fail until 59%.

Karen, that totally stinks! My MIL has the opposite problem, she does not know how to shut anything. When she has been here you can tell because the garage door is wide open, the bread package is wide open in the cupboard, hot dog packages left wide open in the fridge. I asked my dh if they ever had any fresh food at all in their house or did they just eat everything stale??

Thats funny...in a way...I was reading this and had to look up and see if it was DW who was posting this <--- it sounds like MY house growing up. It was gross, but I survived somehow....you kow what they say, "what doesn't kill you will live in the refrigerator one more week!"
