Here I am at the Library again.....and a woman across the computer terminal from mine looks verrrrrrrrrry familiar. After stealing glances off/on......finally realize we had worked together about a million years ago. Hadn't seen each other since we both moved on to different employers.

Speaking of a small world, I met the grandson of one of the original designers of the ride in Anehiem CA this weekend. He was selling magazines to go to Brazil with his soccer team and play in a tournament.

Yes, I bought a subscription.

I told him I want a post card. Do you think I'll get one?

Charlotte – I am sorry to hear about your computer. I can’t believe it is taking you this long. They should give you more than a new computer at this point. You should demand mileage and gas reimbursements for your trips to your library. Maybe even pain and suffering since you can’t get on the DIS whenever you would like!

DH thinks he has decided on a new camera. He wants the Canon S3. I think that is the same camera you bought, right PJ? He wants to buy it soon so he has a few weeks to practice before the trip.

I need to decide on a quick dinner idea for tomorrow. Does anyone have any fun, quick and easy Halloween-y dinner ideas? I don’t really do “theme” dinners….too close to crafy type behavior…but maybe something small.

See Charlotte - I have an inside source that told me that the whole celebrity contest thing is about the thread with the largest number of posts.

I figured everyone might get discouraged if I told them it was 60,000 so at first I lied and told everyone that we had to hit 50,000 and one of us would win a prize. Since Lisa busted me...I came clean and now you all know that the whole contest is about the thread that hits 60,000.

Actually, the Tag Fairy told me (just after she turned John's "DisGeek" green) that whoever pirates post 70,000 gets to choose who gets Walt Suite on our cruise.
Ty will be the concierge
Kelli will be the entertainment
Ophra will be there for emotional support
All other participating celebrities will have to wear banana suits.

actually I have seen allie all day but for some reason your name box was showing up with an red x on my machine.

for dinner tomorrow, my mother always used to make us pigs in a blanket. she said that was the hot dog's halloween costume. just wrap a crescent roll around the dog and bake them according to the time on the roll package. the underside hardly ever seems to get done but they still taste yummy and they are easy.

Marielle, those costumes are absolutely adorable!! Did you make them? I bought ds a Captain Feathersword costume last year for Pirate Night and it was nowhere near that as far as quality. So impressed!

Yes, thanks! I have made it a personal requirement that my kids have homemade costumes each year. Sometimes I'm sewing late at night and pulling out my hair, but it does good things for the ego to see them all dressed up!!

Kristina, did you book Devon on The Wild Side for CC? I just went back in & check our ressie and Christa is now booked for the Friday instead of the Sunday of our cruise. when I called DCL, they told me that we are only on CC for one day. I corrected him and he then told me that wildside is only offered on Friday. I really think it would be better to offer it on Sunday so that the kids could get to know each other better. OW, you might want to check your ressie. I tried to cancel & rebook for sunday but it is no longer showing as being offered.

I'll have to check.. I know the teens in Todd's group originally wanted Friday but were told they were only doing wild side on Sunday.....

I'll check my ressie at home tonight........
