I had my eyes examined today. First time I ever had them dilated. It wasn't that bad. I guess my eyes are actually getting better, visually speaking. ALL THE BETTER TO SEE YOU WITH. Bad news is that I have some floaters and the start of some cataracts. I wanted to ask if I would be able to play piano.


That would have deserved another BOO. AND maybe a groan or two.

Yes, it's 2:42 am (and that's the "new" 2:42). BUT I HAVE FINISHED the costumes for all 3 kids! YEAH! (Neighborhood parade is at 12:30 today... party at 4:30... school parties and trick or treat on Tuesday). Have a great day; I'll try to take some pictures and post 'em.

DD woke up to fuss for about 10 seconds but it was long enough to wake me up so of course I had to use the restroom, get a drink of water and DIS for a minute.

Oh well....off the bed again. It is only the "new" 4:30.

just curious about the correct way to serve.

Uhm well I admit here that I spent a bit of money at the Hallmark store. I was in there for a bit from the time I left the library (2:30)and drove there until 6P. DH dropped DD off at 4P and she was in there with me from 4-a little before 6P when we left to go to dinner together. I honestly didn't realize that i was in there that long. Ok, that is not completely a true statement. When all of the sales assosciates comment "Are you still here?" you understand you have been there longer than 1 hour



Come on, you must have bought more than one ornament in all that time or you have incredible self control. What kind of sale were they having? I didn't know they ever discounted them before the season was over.

When I make them I boil the eggs and peel them. Then I make the mixture and pour it over the WHOLE eggs while the mixture is still warm. If the eggs are hot it isn't important. You need to "shake" the sealed egg container ever now and then so your eggs get an even coverage. You should let them sit overnight to get a nice color. This mixture will stain your clothing! They are delicious. You should give them a try!

The party was WONDERFUL!!!! I will try to upload pics tonight. We have a big celebration at our chruch today. It is heritage Sunday. Today is the "kick off" of our 225 years of faithful service celebration year. We have 8 singing groups performing during the service today....since I am the "music director" of our church I will have a very busy service!!!!!!

After church and lunch we are taking the kids trick-or-treating to the family.

DH had horrible shingles and has permanent nerve pain. I wish they would have had the vaccine for Chicken Pox when he was little....

I have had chicken pox three times! I have never had them strong enough to become immune from them. Now we are worried about me getting shingles. Mom had shingle several years ago and I wasn't able to help her with treatment, the doc was worried about me getting it too. And I have been told too old for the chicken pox vaccine and the shingles vaccine is just going through approval now. After the second time at 21, the doctor said the next chance I had to test and see if I was immune by having contact with chicken pox, now I can't take the chance of being around kids with it. If I have kids, my future DH will have be the sick nurse, .

Just reading that makes me hungry! Used to have a favorite breakfast spot when we lived in NC... now most of the time we're shoveling something down before church/other activities. Not so special that way...

When my DS asked this morning I was able to tell him that we are leaving for the Mickey Boat in only 39 days!!!! We are in the 30's. It will be here before we know it. That means that we only have 41 days until we sail.

I really should get packing some more this weekend!
