I was also thinking of staying to the 17th as well, but the opening of Tron: Legacy kinda nixed that. Yes, I know they would have it playing locally, but I had something planned with a friend who isn't coming along.

We will be headed to Seaworld on Sunday the 12th. Hoping there isn't any rain. We've had enough rain here the last day or so to last me for a while!

We are headed to MK on the 11th to meet up with my bil and sil from Chicago. We have reservations at 100 Park Fare.. a new place for us. On the 12th, we are headed to HS til 1:00 or so, lunch at 50's Primetime.. yet another new one for us, then it is back home to reality. John leaves the 13th for China until the 21st.

Are we still doing the hometown based gift exchange? Just wanted to make sure it's still going to happen before I pack the gift.

I found out that JetBlue specifically states no magnetic material on their baggage policy. Thankfully my 10 year old noticed this before we ran out of time to ship our FE gifts!

We are staying at the hotel inside MCO on Friday night. We didn't want our older one to miss any more than the week she's already going to be out so we leave Boston at 7:55pm.

My husband, Paul will be joining in on the cigar smoking.

The day we disembark is a big day for me. It's the 1 year anniversary of my last treatment for Hodgkins. I really wanted to go to the Very Merry Christmas Party that day, but it is not being offered on 12/11 and we fly out on 12/12.

Still super excited although work is going to be really busy for the rest of the week!

Winds up to 65 mph and Rain which turned to Snow No power for almost 24 hours!!!! I think I am ready to go on vacation Now. We just earned our vacation.

Currently 47 and expected to be 36 overnight here in Port Orange FL, an hour from Port Canaveral. Can we say winter is near?

Don't worry. It will be warming up.

I think this week has been the busiest week of my entire year and it isn't over yet. Nice to think it will end with the start of our cruise though.

Scouts meeting, last minute packing then bed. 1 more day of work, rush home & change and off to the airport. Finally vacation.

I hope everyone has safe travels to the Port and we'll start the party Saturday AM and don't stop for a week.

I'm exhausted!! I've been packing all day and so nervous that i'll forget something. I just want to go to sleep!! I leave out of JFK tomorrow at 12:30, syaing at the Disney Yacht Club (I hope it's a nice place) then Mickeys very merry/expensive Christmas party. My daughter is taking HW and assignments for school that she never even learned and I dont recall ow to do(math and science) this is ruinning our whole trip worrying that she will not know the work and fail tests due to this vaca I've always taken her out this time of yr for vacation w/out and problems but NOW she's in middle school...whole new ball game. This stinks! I want to wish you all a safe journey and a enjoyable trip!!

Linda- Sounds like you need to do what I've been doing all day. Remember to Breathe! I spent the day on a huge field trip that Mac had to have hair and make up for very early this morning, then 2 ortho appointments, credit union, pharmacy, dance car pool and final packing. Rick was 2 hours late getting home from his errands because the people in front of him on the freeway decided to get way too close. He had to work on one person while waiting for EMS then wait to give his statement to the trooper. That kind of slowed me down a little and made me realize I need to just chill. If I forget it- I've decided I'll either smile while I buy a replacement or smile while I do without it

Also, I've taught 18 years 5-8th and would be very happy to help Gi with anything and everything. Please tell her it will be my pleasure to help her with her homework.

We fly out at 12:00 here. Mac programmed your cell number into 3 different phones.... just in case!

I've been doing laundry non-stop but the kids are finally packed! Now to finish bagging my FE gifts and pack myself.

We're scheduled for the first shuttle out of the Radisson so we should be there early. My children (3 yr old girl and 1 yr old boy) will be wearing matching blue outfits with a DCL ship and their names embroidered on them. And chances are, my daughter will be running around like a crazy person.

WE have 10am shuttle as well....... Not sure whut my little ones will be wearing.... I have a 3yr daughter 2!!!

We just got back from MVMCP and all I can say is COLD. It was great as usual, but if anyone is going remember your sweatshirts.

Sounds like everyone is as crazy busy as I was yesterday! 3pm today cant come fast enough today.... I need a true pick me up! My dads surgery went well, so that is one worry off my mind. My mom doesnt have her surgery until the 27th.. another worry gone too.

still have a few things to pack... but the explosion on my bedroom floor is minimal now! I am sure I beyond overpacked...

We are in the exact same boat (literally!! ha ha). Our son is in Middle School (6th grade) and he called me crying yesterday saying, "Mom, I can't go on this cruise - I am going to be lost when I get back!" I felt so bad for him! Luckily, a tutor we've used in the past was willing to come on the Monday that we return and will help catch him up with his work. Phew! I am exhausted!

We are also going to MVMCP tonight - can't wait!

Well--got to the airport and forgot our tipping money envelope. A visit to the ATM will fix that. At least we didn't forget anything that would stop us from boarding the plane.
