We have been battling illness in our house this week - my son started our week off by coming down with Scarlet Fever (which is Strep with a skin rash!) and then gave me the Strep part....luckily we both got on our antibiotics in time to attend Thanksgiving with the family. AND, we will be back to 100% by one week from today when we fly to FLA! Yahoooooo!!! Now all we have to do is keep Hubby from getting sick, and we're good to go! Can't wait!

I am allergic to most antibiotics (the effective ones) and would have little choice but to suffer in confinement if I "caught something" on the ship. I don't think I've been sick in years, but some of my worst illnesses began with strep throat.

I hope everyone is healthy for the cruise, this time of year you never know what might sneak up on you. I have been lucky the Day care kids have had strep and ear infections left and right. Im getting nervous lol. But so far so good .

My FE gifts are ready and I have enough to include the "late joining" people.
The cruise is getting close and I am getting nervous. My co-worker always comes in when she is sick and claims "sinus" even when her eyes are glassy, she is flushed, and sneezing and coughing. I have to spend three days with her until vacation. Hope she didn't pick anything up this weekend.

It's still too far out to be totally accurate, but right now the forecast for Dec. 4 at the port is partly cloudy, high 75, low 56, precipitation chance 20%. Sounds promising to me.

I went to see the new Harry Potter flick yesterday and saw the new DCL commercial on the big screen. It made me realize that the last time I went to a movie theater was back when they only showed film previews and the feature plus the snack bar promo. Geeesh - This time we sat through at least 30 minutes of movie previews AND commercials for everything from DCL to autos.

One week to lift-off . . errr . . sailing!

Hey everyone! I am not going on your cruise (I was originally booked and changed it to better suit our budget) BUT I wanted to tell you guys to have an absolutely AMAZING cruise!! My DSis (ruley3) and my youngest bro are going with ya'll so I hope that you all have a wonderfully magical time!! This time next week you'll be boarding the Magic!!!

Who should we keep an eye out for at the terminal? I hope to be there around 10ish (shuttle from CI & S) and hopefully be among the first few groups to board. Anyone else think they will there that early? I will have a kid's scavenger hunt w/me and copies for other kids. We will have Crusin Nut Name tags on.. so hunt us down. Last cruise the Dis Board group ended up in the back right corner of the terminal near where the kids check in. If anyone wants to meet us there it seems like a good place to meet!

I was thinking of being there anywhere between 10 and 10:30. We'd need a place to sit, so I was going to be nearer to the TVs, cause I don't remember seating near the food/kids club check-in.

I should be there between 10 and 10:30 unless I can't get away from my mother early enough that morning.

I am not likely to be anywhere near the kids check-in but should be easy to spot - - look like my profile pic, will either have my hair down or in a ponytail, will be wearing my Cruisin' Nuts ID on a Chip 'n' Dale CM lanyard and will have my sailor Duffy the Disney Bear and maybe some 'munks visible. Biggest giveaway . . I'll be ALONE! Can't miss me!

We will be there around 10:30 too! we arent doing the Steeler shirts, but I am easy to spot!

John is helping me print signs for our door!! of course we ran out of ink.

We'll have on our Cruisin' Nuts T-Shirts that I'm making tomorrow while watching football.

I think meeting by the TVs is a nice area, gives me room to walk around & video, going out on the deck, etc.

How are the numbers given out for boarding? Last time we went concierge and were like the 3rd family boarded.
