12/04/2010 Eastern MAGIC - CHIP 'N' DALE'S CRUISIN' NUTS

Val - Let us know what kind of upgrade they give you.

I am supposed to be at MK this Saturday for a 10:10 breakfast at Crystal Palace to see a Pooh friend I haven't seen in a long time. I am hesitant because I will be solo since my mom only has a weekday pass now and I can't find anyone wanting to spend the money for CP. I hate doing that buffet solo. Considering taking my Duffy the Disney Bear for photo ops for the little website I'm putting together for him. I'm pitiful, huh? At least doing things like this makes me feel like a kid again. :lmao:

I won't be staying for MNSSHP so probably won't run into you, but you should recognize me if you see me - - Cruisin' Nuts lanyard and probably Duffy! Have a magical time! :wizard:

we are having lunch at Chef Mickey at 1:30, then headed over to MK after that. (we bought season passes, so we are hoping to go to MK at 3).

lil Johns the easy one to spot... he's the hyper one with red crocs... doesnt matter what color he has on.. always red crocs!

Haha - I'll keep an eye out for you then! Not sure how long I will stay at MK. If it's too crowded I may head over to Epcot early afternoon. But I'll watch for those red Crocs! :rotfl2:

Still trying to figure out if we will do the FE.

I need to know how many people in total we have, I want to have something made, just need an estimate amount of them.

Thanks

According to the count on Tas' page http://www.primateprojections.com/CruiseNuts/cruisers.html, there's approximately 25, not counting the undecided ones.
Correct, except that two of the "Yes" listings have two staterooms each and one has three staterooms, bringing the "definite" (subject to Val's final info after checking with them) stateroom total for FE to 29. Again, that is not counting the "undecideds," some of which also have multiple staterooms. :surfweb:

Deadline for sign-up is October 23rd, six weeks prior to sailing, so there are still more than a few weeks for people to join. I imagine there may be some late bookings, even though it does not appear that DCL will offer any FL res rates for our cruise.

I'm not a happy camper today because the weather at WDW for tomorrow is forecast as 60% chance of rain, with afternoon and possible evening thunderstorms. I'm thinking of canceling my Crystal Palace res and staying home, which means my Duffy bear would have to wait just over a week for his first big outing (on the Wonder). I don't mind a little rain, but not when I'm carrying a plush! pooh:

Greetings from BLT! well we hit the jackpot.... we got a 2 bedroom Magic Kingdom room instead of a one bedroom..needless to say we are loving the extra space!! it just was raining ... but we were at the pool so it didnt really matter!!

tonight is Epcot and dinner with Chip n Dale :) we were able to change our reservations..so it is 6 instead of 8:50 pm.

Maybe you could buy Duffy a poncho?
I don't think the FL humidity would do his fur good beneath a poncho. He's curly, you know! ;) The real issue is getting stuck at MK during a lightning storm. Not fun, to me, but especially when solo - lol. Misery loves company! So maybe I'll wait and go with a friend or take my mom. Just means I won't see my particular Pooh friend tomorrow. :sad1:

Val - Congrats again on the room upgrade and on being able to switch to an earlier dinner. Give my love to the chipmunks!

That's why I qualified it as approximate -- I was doing it from my iPad and didn't have enough time to do a full and proper count. I included the link so that MoranClan could see for themselves.

No problem, Frank - and thanks for taking the time to post the reply to the inquiry. :thumbsup2

Any attempt at a count is surely approximate right now no matter how it is figured. ;)

I'm starting to get anxious to see what room we are assigned. I know it won't be for another month, but it's getting there.

Frank - I still think that for you and anyone else who may be Cat. 6 GTY, free upgrade may be the case. Right now there are no Cat. 6 available, but at least 8 or more Cat. 5 and Cat. 4. DCL has a big tendency to call up guests just before docs are printed, especially to offer free Cat. 4 upgrades. I don't know how a particular TA would handle it, but I know that when booking direct it seems to be frequently offered. :)

Hi there! :wave2:

I'll be on the cruise with family (my parents, brother, sister-in-law and their 2 kids), my first cruise ever (well, the kids' too ;) ) and everyone's first Disney cruise.

Will mostly be hanging out with my family but wanted to drop in to see what's going on. :)

-Ken
