well we tried buying a house this week.... the builder rejected the offer, but here we found out the house is going into foreclosure on May 6th. so hopefully we can snag it for a better price.

the weather here is like Florida for right now... 85 and sunny, but next week it will be back to long sleeves and turning on the furnace.

I was out all weekend visiting my sister 6 hours away. I got back just before 10pm today and am just now getting ready for bed -- have to work tomorrow.

sorry the kids are sick.. hope they feel better soon. I went thru 4 weeks of having one or more child home with a fever.

we are in for a cold front. I dont mind 85..... in August, but in April, that is a bit much for me.... guess I am in big trouble when we get to Hot lanta!!

As for me - I had plans to meet up with a friend visiting from Belgium next Tuesday at WDW. We were going to do character dining at Garden Grill (my favorite for the characters). But now this swine flu near-pandemic has caused me to bow out at my mother's insistence. It would be disastrous if I got it and passed it on to her (She's 86 and diabetic), and this article about the school band that went to WDW and got sick when they returned to SC, caused her to panic. Although the results of their tests are not in yet, my mom is stressed over it so for her sake I have to stay away from WDW and other "crowds." Bummer.

We are waiting for May 6th to put in another offer on the house. if that doesnt go well, there is a house across the street and up a few that I really like too.

Thanks for the well wishes. I think we have finally recovered. My son missed an entire week of school and two water polo games. Glad we hadn't been anywhere near Mexico since January or they might have sequestered him.

On an FYI... when we booked our Magic cruise last year a bunch of guys from my husband's fire station decided a cruise sounded fun to them too. We tried to talk them into DCL but they said they wanted more of a party. They got a great deal with Carnival to go to Mexico. We toyed with the idea of doing both cruises this year- the Disney one in Jan. with the kids and the FF one in May without- but decided against it due to school schedules and the fact that we didn't want to be over budgeted for our 1st DCL trip. Well, they canceled the FF cruise today due to the flu. I am so sad for all of them but so happy we didn't skimp on our DCL trip to fit this one in too. For one thing I wouldn't have met all of you wonderful folks. I doubt I would have been able to do the deposit for next year with another cruise only a few months away.

For those who can't figure it out - - If you want to put the smaller graphic with link in your signature, use the following code:

I use the larger one because some people viewing at really high res said it should be larger so they could read the cruise dates on the graphic. The larger one is still within legal DIS limits, but if you have other tickers and such, it makes sense to use the smaller one.

Taswira- Me too! They ended up canceling the scheduled cruise and putting people other places. It's really sad. They wanted to go together and now they have 3 or 4 couples going to Victoria/Alaska; 3 going to the Carib. and a few who opted for a credit to do Mexico sometime in the future.

I'm glad you like it! I was just looking for a cute "sailing vacation" song with Chip 'n' Dale. Too bad they aren't singing about Castaway Cay, but this is as close as I can get.
