I'm jealous! Here in Volusia County we have an exhorbitant county tax on gas, which is why I try not to buy it here, but WDW is as far as I can go seeking less expensive fuel. Gives me an excuse to visit Disney often.

How was Halloween? We only had about 25 or 30 trick-or-treaters here in the Fly-In (before it RAINED). Weird though. One little boy gave me a "treat" after I gave him candy. His gift to me was about half a cup of M&Ms wrapped up in white lace, tied with a pretty ribbon, with a Halloween tag that read "Thank you for the trick or treat," AND an attached business card for a tree service/landscape maintenance service. I guess that's one way to get around the "no soliciting" rule in the community.

That is great to know. Someone sent me a planner that gives you an idea of what the gas is going to cost you on a trip. It had Orlando around $2.76 on there.

Not a great morning. Just now I had to submit a "support ticket" to my web host, as you will notice the graphics and the cruise website are not working. I hope they fix it immediately!

Off topic.......SOOOOO Love Army Wives!! Last night was a good episode!! Cant wait until next week!!

Tonight's the night! Don't you think the preview made it look like someone else on the show is going to die? I hate that this is the season finale, but am anxious to watch it. I hope they won't leave us "hanging." Did you know that apparently there are full episodes on Lifetime's Army Wive's website? I'll have to check that out to get my "fix" during its hiatus.

In other OT news (Don't want a "lost" thread here), I turned back all the clocks except the one for the sprinkler system, so that came on at 5:30 and woke me from an otherwise good night's sleep. For the sprinkler system we have our own well, which means a lower water bill, but also means noise from the pump motor in the garage when it runs. Anyone else have that problem?

It did prompt me to get up and start thinking about this cruise again. I'm honestly looking forward to this one more than any I've been on. The Chip 'n' Dale theme has a lot to do with it, but the fact that we seem to have some really nice, fun people here is a major factor. I hope that as we get closer to our cruise, everyone will post more and have "conversations" here. I know my rambling can be boring, so jump right in folks!

I haven't watched Army Wives. I'm actually way behind on my TV viewing - thank goodness I have a couple of Tivos! Right now I'm reading -- or listening to audio books - the Twilight series. Read them before but now going through them again in the audio format. Can't wait for the movie in just under three weeks.

I, too, am very excited about this cruise. Three whole at-sea days is a big bonus to me, the Chip 'N Dale theme, and I agree - I know we are going to have really nice people sailing with us.

Two years (and approximately one month +) may seem like a long time, but it will pass more quickly than we can imagine.

On our last cruise, I loved our message board, it was great meeting everyone from this board. ( we had a team make us lanyards, and a bunch had tshirts made etc). it is great to have a lively group.

I love the "other" website too. I love how many join the "thread" a month before sailing too.

Shari and I were talking about t-shirts when we went to WDW last Wednesday. We could certainly talk about doing something like that. Shari and I both have wallet-style lanyards with a window in them and she made a great graphic for this cruise to put in there.

So, I'm SURE we can come up with some fun stuff. I'm all for it!

We leave for our first Disney trip really soon. Yet, I'm more excited about the cruise 2 years from now! I have visions of kids in the kid's club while DH and I get to "date". Been a long time. And the pics of the ship decorated for Christmas are just so darn pretty.

I agree the Chip & Dale theme adds to it. The idea of the fun tshirts, etc. Also everyone here seems so nice & friendly. As this will be our first cruise, it's comforting to know there are nice people who have BTDT there too.

I will be doing a (large) reverse graphic of the Cruisin' Nuts logo in my sig as well as the logo on the website and should manage to get to that later this week. When I do, I will upload them and post links from the Cruisin' Nuts site.

In the next year or so - LOL - as more people book this cruise, I'm hoping we can get others to volunteer for things such as making lanyards or buttons, etc. The website is about all I can manage because I have a growing number of things on my "plate." However, I did do a "name and location" cruise graphic for Holly and I so that when we are at WDW people will see it and maybe ask about the cruise. The ones I did fit in our "vertical" WDW pass wallets on our lanyards. This week I will post a graphic with a "blank space" for name and location in case anyone wants to use this. Not a great photo here but . . .

So we are ACTIVELY promoting the cruise all over WDW.

I know you will have an AMAZING time! Keep an eye out for me (I'll be wearing that Chip 'n' Dale lanyard and cruise logo), because you never know when/where I might show up in the parks. I will be there this Tuesday, starting out at MK, and on the 15th at MK, plus park-hopping around.

Thanks! Holly got a lanyard like it from a lady down here in Celebration (on E-Bay, was it Holly?) and of course knew I would want one when I saw hers, so I had her order me one and it arrived in two days.

It is the Chip 'n' Dale slider (Cast Member edition) and came with the lanyard and clip. The "pass wallet" is one I bought at WDW several years ago and is no longer available, but there are similar things you can get.

If Holly sees this maybe she can better answer the "where to get it" inquiry.

I got it from a woman, who yes, sells on eBay. She might have a couple left and if you PM me - I'll send you her email address. They were very reasonable (19.99), and she sent both mine and Shari's out the same day I ordered them.

Sorry for getting so off-topic again, but I just watched the season finale of Army Wives and am SO disappointed! I don't like the way anything turned out in this episode. Man - and now I have to wait for next season.

Holly - Thanks for posting regarding the 'munk lanyards. Too bad she couldn't have a steady supply of those so all our Cruisin' Nuts could get one - LOL. Chip 'n' Dale would REALLY go nuts then, don't you think?

But hopefully most of us will manage to be decked out in Cruisin' Nuts graphics and whatever Chip 'n' Dale accessories or attire we can find or make.

I emailed Joy, the woman who has the lanyards. She only has three more of the lanyards that Shari and I have, which is a limited Cast Member item. It's likely not available any longer and was originally sold only through the Burbank CM store. (Shari posted a photo of that lanyard above)

She does have another one, which is not a limited edition, but still is a Cast Member exclusive. Those she can get. She sent me a close up photo - it looks much the same - but it's a slightly different pose:

She said I could give out her email address, so just PM me if you want to get in touch with her. I've found her to be reputable and quite honestly - lightening fast!

BTW to all - When our cruise website does not work it is apparently due to high volume on the server and they have to restart it . . whatever . . Sorry to anyone who tries to access during that time. Hopefully the issues will be resolved soon for good. Since the signature graphics are at the same location, that is why they don't appear if that is happening.

Holly - I finally noticed that the graphic on that one is EXACTLY like the one in our "sailor Chip 'n' Dale" graphic - minus the sailor suits! Same pose though.

It IS a common C&D pose - they love it!

Guess I'm going to have to get one of those too... They are the same price as the other lanyards - $19.99. If you order through her (not eBay) that will include the postage as well in the US.

I bet as we go along - we'll get talented people who can help with fun C&D stuff for us to all wear and use - or for those who want to. It would be fun to at least have a cruise thread t-shirt for say the terminal.

I found one of the most fun parts was sitting in the terminal waiting to board and recognizing your cruise thread mates!
