Not much activity here lately, but I'm sure everyone has been busy, as I have. I've been doing errands and necessary chores.
My DH arrives in FL this evening for a one week visit. We will be heading down to Marathon and Islamorada in the Florida Keys for fishing and diving, then to Miami for another fighter pilot reunion. I will NOT be taking my laptop (because the temptation would be too much for me!). So please let any new cruisers joining us know that I will add them to the cruiser list or make any other changes to the website after the 28th.
Thanks everyone, and have a wonderful week!
Shari
Have a great time Shari!!
We made a countdown chain this weekend for our WDW vacation in November. It was fun. It had 118 links - my DDs jumped around and sang over taking a link off this morning. Here is a picture of our WDW chain

One asked if we could make one for the cruise (Mickie just can't wait for the cruise vacation). . .but I saw how many days and told her I didn't think so. LOL
I did get my fish extender - I love it. I'm going to post a picture. The top has our family name, I just blurred it for posting.

Two of my Magic cruises sailed to Key West also, but both docked at Mallory Square.I'm glad you enjoyed your trip. It would be so frustrating to see the Magic and know it is not your cruise. You could have looked for someone who looks like you and "borrow" their KTTW card. Actually it would be cool to see the Magic and take pictures. We have been to Key West twice with the Magic and docked two different places. The mystery cruise docked at an old Naval base (on a Thursday). The other at Mallory Square.
My sister had even turned around and told our mom that my DH and I boarded the Magic at Key West and she didn't know when we'd be back. Our mom, however, although nearly 87 and often gullible, told her that wasn't possible and that we had to board in Port Canaveral if we cruised. My sister tried to argue with her until seeing the "sailing away" pic. Well, at least our mom got that one right!Cute story.![]()
Ha-ha - Sort of, but he usually smiles for the camera anyway. We did have a good time in the Keys though. He was happy to snorkel and dive in Key Largo and Islamorada, flyfish in Marathon (all day boat fishing on the flats) and bar-hop in Key West. The only alcohol I had the entire trip was one Mojito, because I rarely drink - heats me up too much. I do enjoy the Apple Black Martinis on the Magic though! He's even smiling! Cute.![]()
Have to add this - - Anyone who knows about my DH knows it's about as likely for him to go on a Disney cruise as it is for me to be an astronaut. So here is the monumental photo (with me on the left) of us and the Magic:

I never thought even a pic like this would happen!
This was the last day of the Ernest Hemingway Days festival, so perhaps busier than usual, although Mallory Square during sunset and into the evening was the only really crowded area. It wasn't too bad walking around town or even in the dock area alongside the Magic - just in that "entertainment area." But it did appear there were not many vacancies at local lodgings.I can't believe how crowded it is. We were there in Jan. and there weren't a fraction of those people. We loved the Catman. My DH thought he was creepy but the kids and I thought he was great fun.![]()
I saw your "Visitor Comment" on my DIS profile this morning, and I did remove you from the list. I also removed your comment though, since it only applied to the cruiser list. I am only notified of thread postings and private messages, so did not notice the visitor comment until today.I would like to be taken off the list for the cruise. I will be taking my 2 daughter's to Disney World for christmas.
I have me listed as my nick name and my girlfriend KathyAnn.
Hope you guys have a great trip.
