Hello all!

Our family is interested in the 11-Night Norwegian Fjords and Iceland Cruise, and I was hoping for some feedback from any who have done these ports before...which side does the boat dock on?? Starboard or port? Would like the best views when docked! Info on ANY of the below ports would be appreciated, but especially interested in the Norway and Iceland ports! Thanks in advance!

Copenhagen, Denmark

Oslo, Norway

Kristiansand, Norway

Stavanger, Norway

At Sea

Akureyril, Iceland

Reykjavic, Iceland
Reykjavic, Iceland

At Sea

Torshavin, Faroe Islands

At Sea

Dover, England

You might want to check out the cruise critic boards. I believe most of these are new for DCL.

Oslo - Starboard
Reykjavik - Starboard
Thorshaven - Tendered (city view on port). If DCL docks it will be starboard dock but city view ahead/on port side.
Copenhagen - Starboard

Dover - depends on cruise berth - but honestly what you will want to see is the cliffs when you depart (port) or arrive back (starboard).

Really a lot of these don't matter because DCL could back in (which would change all of the above), and really in these ports there is scenic wonders on both sides! For example in Reykjavik on starboard you will get the city and on port side you will get gorgeous wilderness views. The upper deck will have the most panoramic view for you!

In Copenhagen the magic is docking at the pier further out which is more industrial and the side won't matter. I'm sure I checked when it was spotted on the schedule and it is not parked at the pier near the little mermaid.

Gotcha. Bummer not closer to the Little Mermaid statue. Thanks for the feedback!
