11/30 Magic cruisers.....

good morning everyone - Im doing the single digit dance today as I know some of you are - Tom you'll be doing it soon

For the Sat sailaway want to meet on deck 10 at 4pm? Im assuming it will give us 1/2hr window before sailing. Should give us time to make our ressies and we certainly dont want to be late for our sailaway party! After we meet, Im sure there will be some that want to move to deck 9.

For the rest of the week, those that are avail, want to just plan on being at the pool deck about 15-30mins before any sched pool activity? The times in the nav's change w/sailings so not sure if we can actually pinpoint a time.

And I know with us at least anytime you see me/us youre more than welcome to come join us. When we want alone time you wont be seeing us-lol

Any other ideas anyone?

so we all send our spouses back to the cabins w/our lifejackets and we run up to deck 10! lol

Yes all...we are almost in the single digits....it really starts to fly when you are down to a few days....but the same can be said when the cruise is coming to an end....when you have only a couple more nights on the ship they seem to fly by....and it is nice on my end that we have 5 nights in Disney World after the cruise...and my daughter last night decided to come down the Saturday we get back from the cruise and meet us in Florida...so she has a flight that gets her into Orlando at 9 in the morning...so we should be getting back to the airport(just to pick up a rental car) at about the same time....best of both worlds don't you think.....anyway...we are down to 11 days.....on Thursday we hit the single digits....Lime green ribbons here we come....looking forward to meeting you all....actually...tried to get my daughter to go on the cruise....but she declined...not a cruiser...but we are!

where is everyone? It's been 8hrs since we posted on this thread - lol Anyone ready to go over the excitement edge yet? I can feel it coming! I better get everything done cos once I go over I wont be able to think at all! Forget next week at work. Even my boys seem to be a little excited at times
(Havent told DS yet that I booked the Wilderness Lodge for next Oct - dont want DH to find out)

I went to the mall tonight and bought a great bathing suit (I love it)! Also bought my son a tie (he will look soooooo cute!) I am getting soooo excited! The thing I am most excited about is spending some time with my husband. With two small kids, we don't have a lot of time together. Can't wait!

I wish I could, I can't even find my bathing suits in the house from the summer. I am truly a disorganized person.

Tomorow while Vincent is at school from 9-11:30, (big woop it only amounts to about 2 hrs if you include drop off and pick up)
but I promised myself that I will spend some time at least truing to find my husbands' clothes. Mine are all over my Dining room in the process of getting ironed and packed. I hate doing things this way because I will pack and not know what the hell I brought.

Oh well, as long as I have a bathing suit and a pair of shorts, I just don't care. I think I want to review what I have because I have far too many clothes out and I am definitely not gonna wear them. If I bring 7 pairs of shorts and 7 pairs of capris, how could I possibly wear them in the same day? It doesn't make sense...way too many clothes....gonna scale down

good morning - last night woke up at 330am! (thats in the middle of the night!) how am i ever going to sleep this next week?
Lori - Im just the opposite I think. I have all our clothes not only packed but written down as to what each day - I know what we are wearing to each port! Have our sea day outfits just not sure which day for what as we dont know when our char brkfst is or our DVC meet. I have a separate outfit for each of us for each day and a separate outfit for each of us for each dinner (but not taking beyond that-lol). DH may be in the same pants/shorts more than 1 dinner - that's if he even gets in them the first time. I want to vacuum this house tomorrow but first I need to move the 5 suitcases that have been sitting here packed for over a month!

So hows the excitement? Under control still? 8 more days!!

Made a big dent in packing...I was bored yeaterday so I figured what the heck...Everything is packed but the dress clothes. Boy it accumulates fast!!! I cant believe it is just a week away!!! We are so excited here in Boston!!! Laurie

Well, I guess we are lucky. We have a store called Bikini Village that is just about every mall. They have a huge supply of bathing suits all year long. So many people from Toronto go south every winter that we NEED this store. Every year, before I take my winter vacation, I visit Bikini Village. It is kinda fun buying a bathing suit in the winter... although my skin looked a little too white! haha

Can you guys believe I still have docs to fill out? Never thought we needed the Bahamas form filled out, still have luggage tags to fill out and the reg luggage tags need to be put on the suitcases, the depart info card, umm what else?
I really want to finish up everything this weekend cos after Sun I know my mind will already be having konk koolers!

How much luggage are you guys taking? Ive got 3 large & 1 medium then our 3 carry-ons (plus DHs sleep apnea machine).
Ive got our collapsible cooler packed in the med suitcase. I also have another carry-on thats empty on the way down but will be filled with my pineapple juice & soda once we get to FL. However, there are toiletries/shoes laying on my floor not packed. Ahh I gotta stuff it in!

Well Barb...as I sit here the doc's are still in the FedEx box they were delivered in....with our birth certificates now with them....and I have not touched them...so....I must change the luggage tags to the new room number and cross out the bar code with a magic marker as per DCL.....I hit single digits tomorrow....have to work the next 9 days straight.....and then relax with you guys....hope all is well...talk with you guys soon!

Hello all...now I am officially in the single digits....down to 9 days and counting....kind of funny since I booked this cruise 365 dys before we sail....so we are so ready.....not packed or anything but that takes less than a day for us....actually DW does the packing....I just have to put the luggage in the car and off we go....are we ready for some fun?

hey Tom - I did the packing for DH too although after he sees all the Disney t-shirts I packed for him he may unpack & pack himself - lol. Left him a note "add 10 underwear & sox and few pairs bangaround shorts"
Packed him 2new pairs windpants and 2 dressier pairs of shorts, his collar shirts for dinner, etc. (He never did try any of the pants/shorts on) Have a list of what to suggest he wear when. All I can do is suggest, Im not going to worry over it. I did my best guys.

Hey Barb,,,you might not win all the battles with DH on what to wear or dressing up for formal night...but you won the war and that is he is going on the cruise which he said he might not go on...so relax....just enjoy the trip....after all...this is Disney.....
