I think there's a show on HGTV for people who screw up their home improvement projects. After you enter the Dream House drawing again, find the link for that show ("Over Your Head" or something like that) and enter to be on that show. . .:thumbsup2

I'm not over my head, I just remembered what a PITA it is to strip wallpaper ...

Thanks for all the welcoming!! Ok, so what are the Banana Heads? We are a pretty conservative family...we'll my DH is really the one who doesn't like to bring attention to himself...my family says that I'm a nut! I'm looking forward to meeting you guys. We went on our very 1st Disney cruise this past November and loved, loved, loved it! We have been to WDW 3 times previously. I hit the jackpot when I found these boards. DH says I'm addicted, so I asked him, "and your point is?". He is very grateful though, because everyone on here has helped me alot in planning our trips to WDW and our 1st DCL venture! Gotta get to work right now, you know, the Disney addiction has to be funded somehow :rotfl: I do work on my computer about 14 to 15 hours a day though, so I'll be back :surfweb:

Welcome Mickeyluv!
I'm not crusing this year, I went last year and this is a great group! My DH is the same way but he benefited from the information I've gained on the boards. AND when we got on board he loved the group and was really glad I had taken the time to "make friends" ahead of time.

We have cruised before and we both felt this really made the cruise a lot more fun. That said we really weren't able to participate a ton because we had a 18 month old along who didn't care for Flounders much.

So EVEN though we didn't get to do much we still felt it really added a lot to the experience. And it was so much fun for me ahead of time getting to know people!

I'm hanging out and chatting still... even though we won't be cruising this year. I HOPE to cruise next year!
Enjoy!
Melanie

To try and answer your queston:
Banana heads are what we call ourselves We being an origianl group of people who cruised together in 06.

Bill (cruisemutt) posted lots of cute dancing bananas with most of his posts, they were so cute soon everyone started posting them and we became the banana heads. Now this will be the 3rd cruise for some of us together and the 2nd for a few we have had join us along the way.

Of course the newest bananaheads like you we hope will love the cruise so much you will come back next year and cruise with us again next year.:goodvibes
Now on the name of this thread it talks about Tiara Bob and the Dreamboats.
They are bananaheads too.
A few of the wives sort of volunteered their husbands to sing Karoake one night and Bob was the leader of the group. Many of the ladies wore Tiaras to the meet we had and around the ship, so everything just sort of fell together to call these brave men Tiara Bob and the Dreamboats:love:

They had their own cheering squad, it was a lot of fun.
so those names have just stuck with the group. We are like a family now and love to have new members:goodvibes

Hope that answers your questions. I'm sure someone else may be able to explain it better than I did, but you get the idea:thumbsup2

Hi everyone, I was wondering if we were able to take a caseof water on board. I know they sellit for a nice big price. I was reading other peoples trip stories and they talk about bringing the water on. I took a bottle each on the trip last month and was so worried. I am not a risk taker at all.

I know everyone says the water is so pure and all but I did not like RCCL water. Im fine with filling from the bathroom sink but would take a case if allowed.

Has anyone ever taken a limo from Kissimmiee to port Canaveral. I was wanting to look into it to see what the cost would be. If we could park our car at out hotel for the week and get picked up and dropped off what a great suprise . I wouldent even tell my mom. Im sure it way more then we could afford but I would like to look into it.

Hey there! We are on the 11/29/08 Magic, the same as you guys. This will be our 2nd cruise. We went on our 1st cruise November 25th, 2007 on the Wonder and we loved it so much that we rebooked onboard. We also met a really nice family from England who were our dinner mates. We all hit it off so much that they rebooked for 11/29/08 also!!! We're very excited!! Anyway, just wanted to check in here. See you all on the Magic

We'll be deciding within the next few weeks whether we'll book 2008 or just wait till 2009. It's not like anyone will book "our" cabin, so that won't be an issue. . .:rotfl:
