Just popping in to say good morning. I forgot to turn on my alarm last night, so Jordyn and I woke up late. I had to drive her to school. She was only about 5 minutes late. We have to get her up at 6:00 to get the bus at 6:45. I am working this afternoon. Tonight I have a parent council meeting at school. It is going to be a nice day here today Have a good day everyone.

Down hereCheri. Austin starts school at 720, he gets up at 5 to catch the bus for 6. No wonder I need a cruise I am exhausted

Jordyn starts school at the same time as your son Wendy. She does not have to get the bus until 6:45. My body is just no used to getting up at 6:00 This a big change. Last year she had to be at school at 9:10. We got up at 8:00. I always look forward to sleeping in a little on Saturday. Heck even getting up at 7:00 on Sunday is sleeping in

I just got a call form work. I don't have to go in now. Too many patients cancelled I was looking forward to some extra $$$. I am actually going to drop my resume off to dental office right up the street. I am hoping to start temping there. If I am lucky maybe they will be hiring. They have great hours. 9-5 No Saturdays

Hope you had a good flight. When Peter came back from Vegas last week his plane brought him over Texas and it got the effects of the hurricane that went through there. His plane was rolling side ot side as well as the usual up and down vibrations. Everyone was seated for 45 minutes of ROUGH stuff.

it didnt bother him, he just watched a movie on his player but the guy next to him was white knuckled the entire time!! i would of passed out!!

Time to get ready for bed here, catch everyone tomarrow!!

Good morning EVERYONE, even Shell

We have rain most of the night and suppose to be here all day. That is good in our case, we are 11 inches below normal and my lawn can really use the rain. Bad thing is I have to force Pixie to go out to "GO" because she doesnt like the rain. She loves the sprinkler, but doesnt want to go out in the rain. crazy dog!!

I think I will make peanut butter cookies today. that just sounds good today.

Good Morning ,
Well finally this morning don't have to turn on the heat to get the chill out of the house. Well today I have to go for a followed up sonogram. DH is taking DS to Sears while I am getting my sonogram to get a lawn mower. I have never in my life seen someone so excited to cut the lawn. It must be a guy thing !! DS colored for the 1st time yesterday and that was the funniest thing because she wanted to have all 7 crayons in his hand at the same time !! Well I am off to do 3 loads of wash now and then get ready for my appointment!! Talk to you later!!

Lynn: It isn't the fact that he will get to mow the grass that is exciting, it is the fact that he gets to buy a new power tool, and gets to take his son with him. Now, to be quite honest, for many men mowing the grass is a respite when everyone will leave you alone!

Good Morning Everyone Else! It is a beautiful day here in Georgia. Down in the low 60s this morning and only going to hit the low 80s this afternoon. THIS is why we live in the south, though we could use some more rain.

Shell, have fun in Texas! I just found out that my trip to Dallas next month may be changed to a trip to Portland. We will see what happens.

Yes, Kathy, Portland, Oregon. I had to make two trips out there last year. At least on one trip, I received an upgrade to first both ways. A little bit of benefit for all the travel I had to do in 2005 that earned me Gold Medallion on Delta.

Well this board is pretty quiet today, isnt it.

glad you got an upgrade for comfort.

I wanted to try Jet Blue because they are suppose to be more comfortable, but they only have one flight there and back each day and they times were not good for us. I dont like arriving at midnight, for me it would of seemed like 3 a.m. Good luck!!


Now just remember I do divide my time between BOTH boards!! I am an equal opportunity cruisers

evening all:

Not much going on....just got home a little while ago, stopped and picked up a few things for my trip.

Shell I believe I'm like 20 days out....and boy do I need this trip....it has been very very stressful around here....not a good place to be right about now....actually I cant wait until the end of October, I'm hoping that will stop some of this stress.....I have been waking up every morning with headaches and neck aches...so the trip to my "happy place" will help....too bad its only a week....!!!!!

Good Morning ,
Well yesterday I went for the sonogram and everything is okay !! I got the 1st pictures of baby banana which was very neat to see!! DH and DS went to get the lawn mower. Today, I am staying in because last night DS's stuffy nose was bother him and he woke up this morning pretty stuffy again !! Well I am going to go clean up and get DS down for his morning nap!! I actually found another lady on this cruise on the other board where you have posted with me. I answered a question for her there and I told her about their roll call board. I hope she will post there, then I will tell her about this thread. as you know there I cant mention any other board, but I will give her my e-mail and ask her to write to me, hopefully she will. this trip is for their 7 th anniversary
Hopefully I have a new person for us to chat with!!


we still have some rain but it is so nice, i hate to think about leaving today.

I am going to make Gregs birthday cake today, then cut it in 1/2 and freeze it. Then saturday morning I will give it an ice cream center and frost it and put back in the freezer for saturday night It will be a tiny cake because we cant eat a regular size one. Trouble is I cant fit "ALL" those candles on a smaller cake. so I am going to stick some out the sides of the cake
