Well then you have a good chance at winning, seeing as OU is a small party school in Athens, Ohio. The Mighty OSU, however, will be kicking the ever-loving crap out of your Tigers tonight.

Kathy, thanks so much for the memories. I was so hoping you had forgotten that .....

Have fun watching the game tonight girls!:cool1: I'm rootin' for OSU... cause they're Big Ten.... I'm sure DH will have it on!

Guess what! I only have 19 more days of working for the boss lady!:woohoo:

Where's Kim? She's just gone. Where did she go?
I thought we were best friends.:sad2:

Thanks Greg,

I will tell Peter and if he gets off the bench I know Peter will be watching his performance and root for him.
we are suppose to be close to 80 today, UGH!! wish we down to the 50's again.

Shell, Wendy,
is tonight the big game?

Good luck to both of you guys:goodvibes
As I recall Last year Pat and I had a winning team chomp chomp!!
I'm sure Shell remembers it:lmao:

catch everyone later,

Kathy

Ahhh the power of the SEC

Jeff, I thought of you this weekend. One family in the neighborhood had been flying a Pitt. Steelers flag since football season started. Well, last week, they move the flag from the yard to hanging on the porch and added a huge floodlight to light the flag day and night (and people say there aren't rednecks up north). Well, on Sunday, that banner quietly disappeared after their loss to Jax.

Yeah the city is in mourning. I'm a relatively fair weather fan, so I watched the game and cheered for the home team but didn't cry afterward. You could only understand it if you lived here but the people here are nuts (and not in a good way) about this team. When I say the city is in mourning, I'm not kidding. Because I follow college sports, it frustrates me that the newspapers barely cover the college games, the talk shows don't talk about the teams except when something negative and bad happens. The only reason I have become even semi-interested in the Steelers over the past few years is that our former next door neighbor is a tight end on the team (his son and Elizabeth are in school together), but he is hurt this year so there hasn't been much reason to watch.

I've also found that people who live elsewhere (like your neighbor) take the team even more seriously because it is their connection to their hometown.

Steeler fans have never been known for being the quiet types!

Hope your week is going well. I have a client I will give you...:lmao:

Bob,
sorry to hear of your loss. prayers for you and Lisa, i know how hard it is to loose someone you love.
I will be anxious to see your handy work in the closet.
If you did a really great job you can come and do ours too:goodvibes

Kathy

Thanks, Kathy. I appreciate it. Not too sure about doing another closet installation though. These things don't go together as easily as they appear on HGTV!

Okay Everyone, I was looking at a site specific to aircraft models and found the following. I couldn't help but post the story here:

Piasecki H-21 'Flying Banana'

by Bill Harr

To keep defense contractors busy during the 1950s the US government approved the sale of various weapons, including aircraft, tanks, etc. to foreign countries. To ensure that the US maintained a technological edge in military development most contractors were required to sell scaled back export versions of their hardware.

Piesecki was given approval to sell an export version of their H-21 helicopter, commonly called the 'FLYING BANANA'. The H-21EXP proved quite popular among the Banana Republics of Central and South America. Aside from use in military applications it was frequently kept on call by many Central and South American dictators in the event a coupe d' etat made a quick getaway necessary.

The H-21EXP is now a very rare aviation find. The FLYING BANANA pictured here was acquired by the Delaware Valley Historic Aviation Museum at Willow Grove JRB for static display.

Here's another for your viewing pleasure. Bill got a horse for a joke Christmas gift from our BIL (he named it Victor, by the way :rotfl2: ). Well, Duesey's just not too thrilled with Victor. In fact, we have to keep a towel over Victor at all times or he stands there and barks constantly! :lmao:

That's great...I love the guest appearance by Ali.

Christine-We had a turtle themed Christmas this year. I managed to find a Turtle Webkinz, turtle ornament, grow your own turtle.............it was so funny!!!! I think Jacob bonded with Joey. He talks about him all the time.

For some reason all kids just love Joey...maybe because they are the same height:rolleyes1 ...yeah I went there but he deserves it...I don't like him very much right now:snooty:

Can you believe it! 60 degrees outside! All the snow is gone and suppose to get up to a couple inches of rain tonight!

How is everyone? Skylar received his guitar for his birthday yesterday as promised. He has wanted one for about 3 years. I told him if he still wanted one when he was 12 we would get one and take lessons. He was very pleased. His official birthday is tomorrow though.

Stephanie has been sick so I had Elizabeth all morning. I was able to keep her up so that she could go home with mom and take a good nap. The doctor gave her amoxicillin. Hope it helps quickly.

Sorry Bob about your uncle. Please drive safe.

Sarah had waist length hair when we had a bout of lice. She was probably about 8 years old, so about 21 years ago. I never did cut it nor did any of the rest of us get it. Yes, I know we were fortunate.

Check back in later. Dawn

Good Morning Folks!

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Our's was not the best. I received a call on Saturday that one of my favorite uncles passed away on Sat. afternoon. Lisa and I will be driving down to South Ga. with my brother tonight for the funeral tomorrow. I will be one of the pall bearers.:sad1:

We did finish the closet on Saturday, and I will post before and after pics in the near future. I am quite proud of it, if I do say so myself.:thumbsup2

Have a great day!

We are doing a 3 day Wonder cruise on the 24th.
After cancelling our other 3 day cruises, we had a lot of credit on our card and Greg saw a Florida resident rate for that cruise. just under $600 for both of us so he booked it.
We figured one last yahoo before getting laid off. we have enough credit to pay for our tips, gas and parking too so it really isnt costing us anything but our time, we even booked a harbour cruise.

I figured we could sneak out but Terri must of seen the thread I was posting on and squealed on me:lmao:

We booked the Radisson finally so we are going to be there the night before again. I sure hope it is a little warmer this time, I guess I need to bring warmer clothes this time for Friday night so I wont wimp out so early.

Wendy, I didnt say your name, Shell did :rolleyes1 , so I am still your buddy right? :worship:

Kathy
