Hope you guys stay warm and dry. We are now suppose to get 6-9 inches of snow. Yesterday it was 1-3. It keeps getting higher! The last 2 storms missed us, so I guess we will se what happens

Good Morning ,
Well the snow has FINALLY ended leaving 12 inches and alot of shoveling for DH !! He can't wait to go to Florida. Well today I am just making sure everything is ready to go for tomorrow morning. Well DH and I were laughing last night on the boards because the Florida people were worried becaause a cold front is coming to Florida and going to make temperatures in the 60's . They need to come here where it is 20 degrees !! Well that is all that is going on here. Talk to you all when we get back from Disney on Christmas Eve.

Hi everyone, Well yesterday was a really busy day. I was gone most of the day. Today I am staying in most of the day to catch up on vacuming and cleaning the wood floor. Tonight we are going to a local church to do a "walk through Bethlehem" We did this about 4 or 5 years ago when the kids were younger. We want to take them again. It is really neat. You feel like you are right there. They have live animals too.

We are in for a big snow storm. They are forcasting up to 9 or 10 inches. We will see if they are right this time. The last two storms missed us. Thats about all that is going on here. Not very exciting Hope everyone has a good day. TTYL

Well, we had some MUCH needed rain here in Georgia yesterday. Almost an inch for us here. And, it was a good, soaking rain, so it will do the ground well.

Howdy everyone,

well we also got tons of rain all night long. Lots of wind too. I think we got about an inch too. Most areas were under tornado alerts and watches. I slept through it, I am so use to all the wind and rain from living in Oregon most of my life.
I think Cassie actually had a tornado but i didnt hear if there was any damage from it.

We took Pixie and Minnie for another walk and Pixie does a bit better each time. But she will not step outside of the house unless I am with them. She wont move an inch for Greg. I guess mama is her security still.

Loved the Elf dances people posted, very cute

we may go see I am legend today, but not sure yet. I have a head cold and if my head is throbing I dont want to be in a large theater with LOUD noises around me.

HI! Gosh, this is a busy site! I don't have time to go back and read all the postings, I'm hoping all is well with everyone.
We did have a bad storm early this a.m. (about 2 a.m.). Our weather alarm went off twice. Real windy now and starting to drop (slowly) in temp. Suppose to go down into the 50's. It was in the 80's the past couple of weeks. So I guess you might say it's finally beginning to look a lot like Christmas! One of our favorite things to do during the holidays is to drive around and look at all the Christmas lights with our hot chocolate and cookies. It just isn't the same with 80 degree weather, the cars a/c blowing on high, and the temp set on "freeze me"

I see some "new" friends posting - new to me anyway. Some of you already know each other. Just thought I'd say welcome to you all and hello to everyone else.

Jeff - still working on seeing you all. Stephen isn't able to go. We'll have to bring Stacey. Saw the cute picture of the girls that was posted on Kathy's tr.

Good morining everyone, Well we woke up to about 6 or inches of snow It is still snowing hard. The kids just went out to play in it. I did not go to church today and I plan on staying in all day. Poor John had to work today. He said they will probably run on people who are shoveling and have heart attacks or the people who are out driving too fast and get into accidents(he is a fireman/paramedic for those of you who don't know). I hope he is not too busy.

Bob-Glad you guys are finally getting some rain.

I just talked with a friend in Cincinnati and he said that the s**w escaped them minus one inch. We did get it. About 12 inches and still s**wing, added about one inch this am. I almost forgot and spelled the word!! Kindda pretty when you don't have to go out in it. The boys shoveled the drive.

Kathy, have the batter of Christmas cookies all made and in the frig for chilling. Made a batch of no-bakes the other day and there are only 5 left..so much for Christmas!

Haven't seen Elizabeth in two days! Missing her today. But yesterday Christian and I cleaned and primed his bedroom for readiness to paint. Paying for it today.

Nathan, the boys best friend he lives in Mason OH, is coming up Dec 27 and leaving ??? Probably after New Year's anyways.

Drat the plow is going by. ALWAYS after we shovel!!! @&*!#

I'm kindda lost when some of the other cruisers post...it will help when we get the cruisemate list but here is a synopsis of my family so that maybe you can better understand us. My name is Dawn my 2 DGS live with me by the names of Skylar and Christian. They are both 11 right now. Skylar will be 12 on 1/8. Christian just turned 11 on 10/29. We have a d-o-g named Alexis. I have another DGD named Elizabeth. She is 14 months b/d 9/30. She lives about 3 miles from me with my daughter Stephanie and her DH Sam. I have a surprise to tell all you when she gives me permission! I also have a daughter Sarah (boy's mother) and I talk about my ex name of David. I lost my son about 2 years ago name Adam. I am retired my life revolves around my family. Live in Kalamazoo, MI SW corner of the state. Hope that helps.
